I guess he's hardly the most noticeable recasting we've had but I still find it odd that they recast The Mountain again - the new chap does look suitably huge but at the same time, he's 20 years younger than his on-screen younger brother Rory McCann, and he's also the shortest of the 3 actors they've had play the role;…

Its not like I didn't get the scene was designed to reintroduce the mountain. I thought if it was in the books it may have been elaborated upon. As it wasnt, for me, the scene lacked a bit of quality. As the mountain was last heard further north they could have cersei ride to a nearby camp a bit north of kings landing where he was slicing up pows from the former stark army or a few brotherhood without banners prisoners.

I think the scene was a bit crap tbh.

Hacking up a few wasted prisoners doesn't scream badass to me. The mountain is supposed to be a bit more than an ape with a big sword. Freakish fast, freakish strong.
