The more I think about it, the central defence should be gutted.

Sahko scares the bejaysus out of me for some reason.

Not a chance they will sell Sakho. Spent 18 million on him and has been injured for a portion of the season.

Few tickets popping up on done deal for Sunday. People hoping to make a killing hanging on to them.

I thought these matches would have just faded away now that pool are out of the title race, anyway I can see newcastle facing the palace backlash.

    Really?

Has a 1 in 3 scoring record for both Bayern and Germany (Top scorer in the 2010 WC).
    Has a matching assist record.
24 years of age, 6 foot 2, can play anywhere across the attack.

We should WISH we could attract a player of that calibre...

    Yes, really.

Voronin had a 1 in 3 record in the Bundesliga the year before we signed him and he didnt have near the class around him.

That's because he looks like a Congo drug lord.

I hear Elverys are selling Arsenal calendars for €0.50 because it only has the months from August thru February.

Id say hendo will break the record for the most kilometres covered in a single game

Those jerseys that were priced at 35.99 instead of 53.99 probably won't actually be sold to those who bought at the cheaper price. If it was a genuine pricing error they are under no obligation to sell, even if your transaction seemed to go through.

Mmmm..not sure, offer, bid contract and all that.

    I'll keep you posted.

I've to collect jersey in Clerys so if I get it I'll post a picture of me with just it on and nothing else outside the GPO.

I actually think Sakho is fine and will improve.

I think Skrtel is the problem as he doesn't defend properly and Mignolet does not seem to dominate the area behind them which must make defenders hesitant.

Skrtel has probably been our player of the season behind Suarez!

Guess I missed the announcement of The FA Cup final being moved to February.

Surely Sterling and Gerrard would be higher up the pecking order there? Sturridge too.

Skrtel could be improved on easily. Absolutely headless at times. I get a 'dose' when he dithers. I have no worries over Sakho, its his first year in the EPL.

Been good for goals etc and generally does well but I find he can have a lot of moments where he defends too deep or hesitates and makes the wrong decisions.

Would also argue that Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling and Sturridge have been higher in the performance pecking order.

Gerrard and Sterling were patchy enough earlier in the season. Skrtel has been much improved on last season and consistently the best centre back we have right now. Sakho has still to impress IMO.

Our centre backs haven't been afforded much protection by the midfield all season long, hence the large number of goals conceded. I think individually they've done very well this season.

Eh, the best centre back as he hasn't been injured and played every game. He improved on a very poor season last season.

You don't think we could have a better centre back than him or Agger? (Who is also over-rated in my opinion and those YNWA knuckle tattoos got him too much goodwill here.)

There is absolutely nothing consistent about Skrtel. This is, has been, and will be the issue.

I really don't know why people have a problem with Sakho yes he looks awkward but the stats show just how good he is.

Skrtel has had a very good season goal scoring wise and this would have added value to him as everyone knows he has one good season one bad season since arriving well maybe now is the time to cash in on him if we get £12/15+.

Agger just isn't the player everyone hoped he would become when he arrived I think we all have a soft spot for him as well as he seems like a good lad who settled in well in Liverpool club and city. But I think if we get £10m+ we should let him go as well.

Get a good soild pro next season nobody flashly to settle in beside Sakho and I think we will have a good centre half pairing there.
Bring llori back as 3rd choice.

Then we also need to get in LB and RB first team starters. You then have Flanagann and Wisdom as back ups and cup starters.

I think no matter what CB you replace Skrtel or Sakho with, we will have the same problems until the full back positions are improved on.

This is oft repeated but misunderstood. Agger's YNWA tats actually mean 'You're No Winger Aly' in reference to his much maligned teammate's inability to put one leg in front of the other in the co-ordinated manner required once he reaches the opponent's half.

He has consistently pulled opponents jerseys in the box all season too. How he got away with so much was beyond me.

Can't remember where I read it, but someone said he gets away with it because he does it skillfully. It may be obvious to the tv viewer but the linesman and ref can't see what he is up to so can't penalize him

I think not getting games would stunt his development, similar to Coates.

If he impresses Rodgers in preseason enough to warrant a starting spot then keep him but other than that loan him out.

Loan him out to a Prem league team for a year and let him get games there and learn his trade there and make his mistakes there then bring him back as a seasoned player ready to take a starting position.
