he works for a company that makes conveyors, production lines etc out of stainless etc. He's a welder by trade. His welds are perfect and after he polishes them you can't see the join. It's incredible. He's done custom stuff for me before on bikes too. I'll throw up a few pics later :)
    +1

I've only ever heard positive reviews of souhans.
When I'm looking for some custom pipes that's more than likely where I'd go.

Drove down to cork from Dublin, filled the car which is a 70 litre tank, done better than I thought, only 1 quarter gone when I arrived.

I had the back window open on the way home to facilitate the sideskirts so a little worse but not too bad. Only in the door now.

I also stopped off at Midway food court on the way back, bad news lads....Burger shack is closed.

Used to go to Cork regular in the T/A for the GAScc car show. Would use 3/4's a tank going down alone. Worked out at about 15mpg at a steady 80mph.

Is there something up with it? Couldn't be that bad on a cruise, I'd be expecting low-mid 30s in the 2.3.

735 would do 30mpg motorway. That said the 520 doesn't do any better.

However the 520 avgs 22mpg urban (95% of its driving) as opposed to 15mpg in the 7er. ;)

Nope, it's better than it ever has been to be honest, it's interesting to see it go from what it was to what it is now :D

I'd say it wouldn't be too bad, it's something i may do sometime to see, From going from my house to monaghan and back it only used half a tank, so i'd say it was a similar distance

So who do we ask to make a Midway meet thread?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,661 ✭✭✭Voodoomelon

So got to drive a 760i tonight, what an absolute hammer of a car. The sensation of endless power is dramatic; reaching ridiculous speed so quickly and not letting up at any point, in such a colossal car is dangerously addictive. :D

Answer me this, if you take a badge off a car, eg. on the boot, can it be re-applied?

Ofcourse it can, you'll just need some sort of adhesive.

Usually each letter comes off separately.

    What kind of badge?

Usually the brand badges are held on with pins of some sort. If you mean model/engine ones, not that I'd ever want to re-badge a car, but I'd just buy new badges. DIY can very easily look crap with something like that.
