They're sold as "compact executive saloons" but I don't find it too bad, I actually quite like it. I did notice though when I test drove it that the dash was a lot closer to me compared to the MPS.

Pah! You'd wanna try an E30 so!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,872 ✭✭✭Foxhole Norman

Must keep an eye out on that one. I'm heading to a car show in cork on Saturday so I might pop in there too en route.
Hadn't considered a 335d if I'm honest. Probably should, as I'm forever reccomending 335i/d tourings to people in here as a good sleeper.

    Rock'n Rumble?

    Aye, going in the truck.

I'd have went if I weren't going down to West Cork for the weekend. It's literally 30 seconds from my house.

@5500, Spec R? You can't miss the Civic that much with that yoke!

Hold out for the new Type R anyway. ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,413 ✭✭✭5500

    Yep it's a spec R, Hks coilovers/catback & Turbo timer and that's it.
After a week with the skyline I missed the Honda, I'd like the new one but wouldnt buy new, I aint taking the depreciation hit!

Will there be alloys on the way anytime soon?

Does nobody else find the e9x series of BMWs incredibly cramped? I had an E91 320D as a rental before and found it tiny inside. I'm not exactly large and yet the seats felt like I was just about fitting. I certainly wouldn't recommend one for a family anyway.

I was in one last year and found it awful. Any more than a 10 minute journey and I couldn't tolerate it. Far too small for me.

For the Bora? I want rotiforms, I'll get them whenever I can afford them but I don't know when that's going to be.

It just needs a vRS badge now :pac:.

When did you get to drive it?

Very unsophisticated suspension wise compared to the old models. Widely regarded as being worse handling.

FYP (just messing!) Don't post much here anymore but I must say I do like your Bora. A nice set of alloys would finish it off. I'll be passing through Carrick on Shannon tomorrow so must keep an eye out for ya....
