    Treadmills in there keep resetting after an hour. Very annoying.

    Was a lot harder than last week, been wrecked all weekend which didn't help for today, didn't hit the zone at all

    Working up to 40 for ages then bam, 42.5 is easy :)
    Legs always feels short although the deadlifts take a while. I did the shoulders as a break.

    Annoyed about the bench. Usually use fixed weight barbells for it but tried the proper one today. Bench was a little too high off the floor for a good grip on the floor with my feet, and the weight resting thing was a little too high overhead. Couldn't see how to adjust the latter and felt off balance in general so went back to fixed weight ones. No 27.5 kg, it's 25 then 30, so went back to 25 today. Will try 30 next time I think it should be quite manageable

    Kept the back squats light to try them out. Was nearly sitting on the floor :pac: Boost em up next time or try goblet again to make sure I keep up the depth

    Tried 3km at a speed of 9kph
    had to stop a few times
    switched back down to 7kph and jogged 5km no stops
    total 8km taking about 1 hour 4 mins including walking stops.

    Not happy...

    5k race for darkness into light. At 4am!
    friends did it in 32:20 and i was right behind so I'll call it 33:30. 4 mins off pb and 6 mins off the last one.

    sub 35 was an intermediate goal, sub 30 is the long one. I'll get there. Training definitely helped so much!

    I actually wanted to do 2 hours today but considering the race, messed up sleep, and out last night, that was a bit unrealistic :p couldn't get into the zone at all for 45mins

    Couldn't make it to gym today and have race tomorrow ... didn't have to stop me doing some stuff at home :)
    Fell on some steps yesterday and knocked just under my knee like a total tool, can't kneel on it, so the push ups were on one leg and then very shallow proper ones

    Next time I'll get more than 4-5 hours' sleep and eat properly the days before :D
    I know I can do e.g. 11k without stopping in better time, it was just a bad day!

    Last time I did a 10k i didn't prepare properly at all and at the 7km mark, i started to run out of fuel. It was annoying to be 2mins slower than previous time but I learned more than I would have if I'd matched the previous time :)

    Yesterday: enfield 5k race. Thought it would be a fun run. No... got there to find out it was a srs bzns race with most of the people there going for 15 mins finish. Oops! Good thing I didn't bring the doggy! :D

    Walking briskly to the gym aggravated my chest again and couldn't breathe properly etc so had to cut today short. Despite being able to lift it probably isn't helping the situation so I'm wondering if I should take a week off.

    Yes! I decided to be sensible.
    Actually I did walk the flora women's 10k on monday. We sprinted at the very end and that was a bad idea for me.
    I'm planning to get back to lifting tomorrow and running will have to wait another week or so.
    Can't wait to deadlift again, I'm totally hooked...
