Nasty person Margaretta bad enough she's tolerated by Aosdana now she is been granted airtime at the license fee payers expense. She should be billed for the cost of detention but I suppose the crusty only has what she's squelched from the taxpayer.

    Urgh... idiotic post.

    Hi all !

Just in. Did I miss much so far ?

    Hey,

You missed the Shannon Airport protestor whose just out of the big house, and the usual poor jokes at the start.

its not like she killed someone FFS! She is an old woman and the punishment did not befit the crime.:(

I am not saying she did kill someone. She is complaining about the lack of celebrations in a prison.

She lives by her principles, it's the state who choose to take the cash for the plane landings and subsequent multi million euro security bill, in a country of our size some resistance should be expected.

oh? I thought she was in for 9 weeks?
1 week.... thats bearable..... and I take that back about her being articulate!

No sorry, that was a a typo. It was 9 weeks.

No tie, roughly shaven, I'd say Fergal will be on the blower to him sharpish.

Superquinn were always very expensive. You can have lovely customer service but most people want value.

They were the big casualties when Aldi and Lidl came in. Went bust twice then swallowed up by Supervalu.

Look at him.... nothing like the Da.....

Close my eyes - it IS the Da!

    Very unsettling!

No, but she has cheered the deaths of others, you see, with Margeretta it's all about which uniform you die in....

Like I previously stated, she's a nasty piece of work. I don't expect Brendan to challenge her on her history, it's not the RTE way

I think Fergal knew this from when Lidl first arrived in the country, he sold shortly afterwards to some property developers.

Don't ever remenber hearing of them going bust.

Sold out, yes - and in hindsight, weren't they right!

Surely Mace won't be pleased with Brendan giving free plugs for another Supermarket (albeit one which no longer exists).

What exactly do you think an aborted landing is?

Coming in to land, ie. touchdown seconds away.... as apposed to having to circle for a while until the coast is clear to land. If the latter happened then hardly an aborted landing. If the former happened then oops, that is bad!

Your own contribution reads like a list of dumb right-wing clichés...

    "Licence fee payer's expense"

    "crusty"

    "squelched from the taxpayer"

They'll be the one with the grumpy faces the next time he goes in to the store.

They went into Receivership in 2011, then Musgraves took them over

They were also in trouble in 2009. But yeah, Feargal Quinn picked a good time to get out!

When Brendan said, 'Coming up, two Queens of Irish comedy'', I hope he meant Graham Norton and Mr Pussy.

    What? He didn't? Ahh, sh*t!

Mary Lou McDonald in Dragon's Den?!

Is he going for the Chuck Norris look?

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,935 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

I've never seen anyone skirt a question as well as that since.... well, the last time Enda Kenny was asked a question! :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

We should be wary of Dragons Den.

It gave Sean Gallagher a platform from which he almost became President.

    A narrow escape.
