    They had supply issues so a lot of stores got them in late, think it was until stock lasted so might all be sold

    Lidl in Dolphin's Barn is either the worst supplied, or busiest in the country. Deals posted here last about half a day there. :D

    Other stores are the exact same. One of the Managers said some stores don't get deliveries of special event items until days or in some rare cases, weeks, after the events. In other cases- high profile items (a laptop and a telescope were mentioned as examples)- they were rationed out- each store got 4 of each- which were gone by 9.01AM on the days in question.

    The business model does not support these special deal/special offer type activities- their whole distribution chain gets messed up.

    It kinda does though if you think about it. People who aren't near a Lidl go out of their way to stop at one on their way to a session, to pick up a deal. That store is all out, but they're hardly going to bother going even further out of their way to shop somewhere else, particularly when a lot of drink in Lidl is still cheaper than other shops, so Lidl still gets customers. ;)

    Spotted slabs of Guinness in Dunnes for €26. Also Lidl have bishops finger and spitfire for €1.99 (which if you have the sunday world voucher, you can buy 24 bottles and it works out at 1.60 a bottle.
    Tesco have 4 for 10 euro on O'Haras Pale Ale.

    36 is the "normal" reduction albeit still a good price for Ireland, 26 is exceptional.

    Be aware that the cans in those 12 packs are 440ml cans.

    Seen 8 x 500ml cans of Guinness for €10 in Dundalk,sel says offer expires 27/5 but me thinks this will be extended and will also be nationwide.
