"SuperValu 4 cans of Hop House €4! Fantastic value"

Best before is June 9 2020 which explains the great value. Only got 2 packs they will be well gone by then.

But just in case anyone is grabbing them all -check the date which is a bit off a task. Infact can you even check without opening the packaging.

Great spot on the dates, however in this weather my 24 will be lucky to see the turn of the month!

So did the Lidl 20euro slabs happen?

Tesco doing decent 4 bottles for 10€ deal now

This includes 660ml bottles of peroni and Heineken

So best value I'd 4*660ml Peroni for 10€

Box of 12 X 330ml for €15 works out the same for peroni. And only counts as one item if doing the big shop online (80 item limit). Down side with the small ones is when you tell the wife you are having a couple of beers!

Did they not advertise several slabs "from €20"? Seems to be how they're doing it lately.

Controversial in fairness. There was no “from” on the poster. It was 1.66/ltr. Never materialized. Went to dunnes with 3 x tenner vouchers. 6 slabs for €138. That’s the weeekend sorted:)

What’s the nicest white rum to buy? I don’t drink rum but want to make Pina Coladas.

Havana club 3 year old is on offer in tesco for 24 at the moment.

    https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=262704861

It is aged so not a white rum, but it is not overly strong flavoured at all, and not a dark rum, its aged white rum.

I see now it is 23euro in Obriens
    https://www.obrienswine.ie/products/havana-club-3yo-70cl

I don't like bacardi at all, it is 22 in obriens but you have to factor in that it is weaker at 37.5%, it it was 40% like havana then it would be 23.47 a bottle

€25 in my local Lidl, I know because I bought 2 yesterday for €50

I know this is slightly off-topic, but I'm really surprised to see everyone here praising the Jameson Stout Caskmates. I tried that a few months ago and thought it was very harsh. Got more of a burn off it than I would standard Jameson. Whereas I think the IPA one has a nice subtle flavor to it and goes down easy. Each to their own I suppose!

Blossom Hill wine 6 for 40 in my local Circle K at Artane roundabout.

Handy if you need to stock up for bbq
Lightly chill the red I reckon.

    Peroni 4x330 ml for 6e.

Another vote for havana club here. I cant understand why it isnt more popular. The havana club especial is on offer in Tesco at 25 euro too. Cant go wrong with either but id stretch another 2 euro, or get one of each ðŸ‘

For Pina Colada, the quality of the rum really doesn't matter.
Havana club or similar would be wasted, focus on the other ingredients IMO.
Good pineapple juice, and quality coconut cream are far more important.

Mount gay rum. That is it for rum. Nothing else.

And don't overdo the booze or it'll be ruined.
