Any offers on Guinness. Would usually only drink it in bars but am completely fed up of cider and dont drink beer at all.

you might have to wait until next weekend for Guinness deals, they generally do them on bank holiday weekends

Tesco are doing Gordon's, Captain Morgan and Smirrnoff 25 euro for a litre also slabs of Bud and Carlsberg for 25 euro.

Hopefully this will trigger a reaction from the other supermarkets.

I don’t really like the Belgian beers, I’ve only had the one with the least % but it’s like a stout. Il just drink them anyway.

Dunnes in Swords are doing slabs of 500ml Guinness for EUR 30 (don't know how long for :( ) - that's down from EUR 34 last weekend

Jaysus, we'll need an app for prices soon "you are within 2km of a slab of guinness for EUR 24..."

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

Does anyone know if that price for Guinness slabs in Dunnes is nationwide or not? I have a voucher but no point in queueing if it's still €34

interesting, that is the size they started giving out in many pubs a while back. So I guess this is pub stock being sold to the public rather than dump it.

Any gin deals? Only one I'm aware of is Tesco 1lt of Gordon's for €25.

thanks for the reply, I was wondering how much the slabs of Guinness are in Dunnes Cornelscourt before I go tomorrow, I tried ringing them but they aren't answering the phone. I will have to queue tomorrow for half an hour or so just to get inside and see the price and probably walk straight out after with nothing if the price isn't right

Is that Roe & Co for a tenner a typo?

Apologies, yes a typo, it's save a tenner, edited now.
Thanks for that, thought I was actually typo free.

It's a lot of typing in fairness, thought it was too good to be true alright.

Not particularly great deals from Supervalu. Greenspot and Yellowspot are RRP prices. Anyone interested in Yellowspot can get it for €70 directly from Mitchell & Sons.

Not sure it’s already been posted.

Guinness slab is 25 in Lidl and 28 a slab in Tesco

Seems to be the best deals I can find on Guinness slabs

No doubt they’ll Be around the same price for next months BH.

Any decent deals on Coors bottles anyone?

Would love to be able to get kingfisher Indian lager in Dublin but it’s very hard to find. And I mean the big pint bottles. Oh and if I could get them for same as they cost in the island of Diu (off the coast if Gujarat in West India) that would be great. They cost about equivalent of less than 1 euro there.

Tesco in Newry have them and theyre currently 3 for £5 for the 660ml bottles. Not sure if youre near the border or if youre that willing to travel so far for beer. Might be handy when the lockdown is over.

Wow. And that’s a great price too. I’m in Dublin but will do this trip when the restrictions lifted. Thanks.
