If you like Bud Light or Coors then you will like Canadian; it's in that sort of category. Personally I find it very bland, other people love it, but it's that type of beer. Each to their own.

A great wedding drink. That or Guinness, low alcohol drink 15 pints and still be able to stand up straight. Session beer at its best.

I'll pick up a couple of cans next time I'm out and give it a try !

the deal says "any 24" and so looks like you possibly could mix n match them with carling, so could get a tray of carling and swop 2 cans for molson.

    https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=R32835154

It would sicken my to pay 1.95 for the cans on their own.

I was stuck the other day and went into a local offie and a single can of draught guinness was 2.95, I could not compute it for a few seconds! so used to paying under a euro.

Smithwicks in a bottle is only beaten by Macardles in a bottle.

    Another one bites the dust.

McCardles straight from the back of the fridge for me. Colder the better.

    My fav Sunday night tipple.

Though can be a mite gassy.

I always thought Smithwicks was rotten, though tbh I have no idea where this idea came from. Was at the Ploughing years back and went into the taster tent- it’s was lovely, didnt know what I was missing

I quite like the Smithwicks Blonde session ale - LIDL usually have 4 bottles for €9.

A bottle of Phoenix off the shelf topped both of them!

Its like when people say they couldn't drink Stout its far too heavy when in reality its as easy to drink as water. Lager makes me very gassy and bloated.

Are you anywhere of any shops/off licences in Dublin that sell McArdle's? Cans or bottles but ideally bottles.

I've only ever seen them listed for sale on the website Musgraves (Cash n Carry) which is only open to business owners etc.

^^ they sell em in Tesco Extra where I live.

there weren't any slabs of Guinness in Cornelscourt Dunnes today, people went a bit mad yesterday buying 4 at a time as that was the limit. Also I doubt many shops will be open tomorrow as it's Paddys Day

Not meaning to make a request but... well... i have a request... Any idea where I can get Crabbies? They used to sell it in Aldi a few years ago but not seen it in aaaaages, its alcoholic ginger beer, 10 times better than the Fentimans equivalent. I DID find it in o briens but its rarely in there, ands its 3 for 9 quid...

My local Dunnes (Douglas) used to sell it so I'm guessing all of them do. Haven't looked recently, but I'd presume they still stock it

Listed in supervalu obviously stock will vary by store pretty sure I've seen it in my local one.

Must try it, have had Wychwood Gingerbeard a few times it makes a nice change.
