Booze deals [Megathread]

Lidl had 20 x Heineken 330 ml and 20 x Bulmers 300 ml for €25 for two cases yesterday.
I don't know if it will be repeated but value like that is worth watching out for.

Tesco have 24 cans hop House 13 500ml for 28 euro. Never seen it with usual cheap stuff before

Wouldn’t be a massive fan but that’s a good price for a slightly above average brew.

What's the cheapest irish whiskey about at the minute? Just looking for something for hot toddies over the winter, seen Bushmills was down to 2 for 30, is there anything around that price still?

Kilbeggan is €20 in O'Briens for a 700ml bottle.

Honestly- even if its only for hot whiskeys- even bog standard Jameson is the beat of either Kilbeggan or (shudder) Bushmills. Dunnes *had* 1 litre bottles of Paddy @ 30 each - and hot whiskey is about all Paddys is good for- it would be worth while seeing if its available @ 30 anywhere else at the moment........

You're unlikely to get 2*70cl bottles of whiskey for 30 anywhere- as quite simply- the tax and duty on a bottle of whiskey is more than this (from memory I think its about 15.65 a bottle).

If you're using a large quantity- and have transport- Newry or Eniskillen are your better bet........

Of all the current NI Whiskey offers- the total knock-out for me would be Glenfiddich 15YO @ £30/70cl in Tesco (decent single malt Scotch is very much in constraint- and its becoming increasingly difficult to even find 15YO Glenfiddich- never mind on offer @ £30 a bottle- but if you like a nice whisky- and would like to experience an exceptional one- this is the one to get)

Of course but the poster asked for the cheapest whiskey at the moment. What it may have been in Dunnes or in the North wasn't the question. Depending where you live it might be cheaper to buy a bottle of red breast than to drive up north to get whiskey when you factor in your time and petrol.

no baileys in my tesco, they only had the usual tiny shelf space, but did have a cardboard stand which might have held 25-30 bottles.

In the past when its on offer they can have it in another section.

I would imagine those jamesons will be gone in a snap too.

Got a 70cl of Jameson with two glasses for 20 euro in Tesco greystones, were only two left after me. Great deal
