...............Legs were chomping at the bit to start the MP miles and felt nice and spritely by time they came around. Final two miles clocked in at:

    7.32, 7.30

and felt great. Hopefully they will feel this way on the big day, couldn't find anything to complain or question myself on from this run. It was how I hoped it would go and gives me huge confidence heading for Rotterdam......

Just bumping this up as promised :)

Deadly Tang. Nice bit o drama at end. I'd say FD's heart rate was higher than yours for about 20 mins at the end.

Well done B, absolutely delighted for you.

Sorry for being so late to congratulate you - I was involved in a different kind of marathon yesterday but Firedance kept me up to date - I reckon your race took as much out of her as you:D

How's the body today? Did you fly Ryanair?

Cheers aero, she's some woman in fairness to her. Body is fine, legs are a different story. Both feet are destroyed with blisters, something I've never gotten before, and my hips are in bits but hey I enjoyed every step of yesterday and if Dublin is anywhere near as good in October I'm in for another great day. We're flying with Aer Lingus.

    Not too bad I suppose.

What happened for the slow kilometre towards the end, you stop to comb your hair :)
