Did sligo really sign Zayed or is a windup?

Seems legit. One of the strangest LOI deadline days I can remember.

Zayed on loan until the end of the season. How long more was his contract with Shams for?

Feels more like musical chairs than a transfer window.

    ZAYED LOANED OUT TO SLIGO
Shamrock Rovers can confirm that striker Eamon Zayed has joined Sligo Rovers on loan... http://fb.me/6OgjUrM7M

Rovers will think thats a good move as Sligo are not a threat to them, other top 4 fans sighing with relief as it could have been them stuck with him.

Thankfully he hates Buckley and his sister thinks we are racist towards him. Created that cracking chant " we,re not racist, your just a ****ing XXXX"

Little disappointed if I'm honest, unless Shams are paying most of his wages. The season is lost at this point and the MC did well cutting out the deadwood to save money before signing Zayed.

He's got a poxy attitude and never liked him much plus my feekibg is he is past his best but Croly has turned all our forwards into stinkers.

Killer and Shep are equally alienated as him.

Looking forward to tonights game I must say. I reckon there will be at least 5000 at The Cross. We cannot lose this. If we do, we are out of the race. A draw would be fine, but I think we need to win this one to really stake a claim.

Cliched, but this will be won and lost in midfield. If our midfield is as toothless as it was against Bohs, we may as well just give Dundalk the 3 points.

You lose tonight and Dundalk will win the league barring a **** up of epic proportions.

We do, but more because he's a lazy Bollix with a terrible attitude than anything else, He'll probably be a revelation at Sligo

We've signed Daryl Kavanagh. No idea what's going on. Assumed with all the players being released we were just saving money for next season.

Can't really see the point of paying Kavanagh and Zayed unless they're staying for next year too.

He is a waster and a disaster. One of the most truly poisionous players I have ever seen with CCFC.

Did nothing for us this year. Had one great season up front with Danny North a couple of years ago but has got nowhere near that since.

Pats are starting to look extremely lightweight up front.

I've always thought that was Greenes best position.

Haven't seen if there's a thread for this weekend but Pats are 1-0 up vs Sligo. Peach of a goal with Fagan and Forrester linking up well. This is my second time at a Saints match this season. Feel dirty applauding them but live football is live football :p

Shams are 3-0 down away to Limerick with only 25 minutes gone.

Croly still being in charge there after 18 months is one of those things I will never understand.

He can't remain in the job after this, it will turn ugly down there tonight.

I'd say he'll be gone tomorrow morning.

Bohs losing to Derry 3-0 at half time too. That disheartening after last weeks result and performance against Cork City,

Eamon Zayed on for Sligo Rovers. Got a frosty reception.

The fans are singing Croly out, he can't go on.

The scoreline is not a flattering one either, Rovers are bad. Could even be 5 if a six yarder wasn't missed.

Didn't realise you were that close off them, would like to see Wexford get the win for selfish reasons.

Entertaining game as ever....pain in my hole with entertaining games can we not just batter someone......We dominated 1st half, they came into 2nd half. We finished on top but Clarke made a wonder save from Zayed at the death.

Ref was an absolute joke, Sligo fans be on about Norths straight red but Russell should have got 4 yellow cards. As usual great player but a filthy bastid :D

thought out of ye & galway it would have been ye that slipped up! got that wrong. safe as houses at this stage now.

galways goal difference could be their saviour, big game next week and potentially a massive on on the last day of the season

We were pretty poor half, but fairly bossed the second, especially after we scored. Think we just about deserved the win.
