Im ditching ozil and i can bring in any midfielder in the game, my current midfield is hazard lallana assaidi mata. Who should i buy? Ive been thinking yaya nolan or mirallas, and ive narrowed it down to yaya or nolan now, just curious if people have any other suggestions?

Charlie Adam. I've been watching him purely because he plays in GW29.

He was the Adam Lallana of FF when at Blackpool a few years back. Used to even get 2 or 3 bonus when Blackpool would lose.

He now takes the set pieces for Stoke who have a number of good players in the air, including Crouch who has now scored the third most headed goals in PL history with 42. One person ahead of him is Shearer on 46. Can't remember who the other is.

If he even got near that form from seasons back, he'd be worth a punt for a few weeks.

Hazard, Sturridge and Suarez. There must be money you can free up somewhere. Those three are pretty much essential. What's your team?

    Gerrard.

His points total is deceptive because he missed a handful of games with injury and he scored poorly in the first 5 games when Suarez was not available. But since Suarez has been back, he has got something (goal, assist or bonus) in every game bar 2 I think. He mightn’t get into double figures too often but he’ll consistently get you 7/8 pointers. A must have IMHO.

    Silva

Do you think hes a better choice than yaya? I agree that Silva should make more sense in theory, hes a far more attack minded player, and most of citys attacks usually go through him, but he doesnt really rack up the points ff wise. Hes not much of a goal scorer.

Ive always been firmly against the idea of getting yaya into my ff team, it doesnt make sense that a centre mid should score so well in a team that plays two up front with two wingers. However its hard to ignore yayas returns this season, and the fact hes on frees and penos makes him even more appealing. I heard he was playing a deeper role against norwich? Thats definitely giving me doubts.

Im also concerned about citys possible double blank, hence why nolan seems more appealing, or mirallas.

Have 2 ft's will probably just do evans to baines. Im tempted to do bardsley to either demel or pieters aswell but think it could be better to carry the 2 FT's until we know more info about gw 29.

Not normally a fan of 2 attackers from same team TBH

    Mannone Speroni
    Evans Chico Shaw Ward S.Taylor
    Ozil Mata Lallana Erikson Noone
    Suarez Negredo Benteke

Right lads, have 2 FTs, have made up about 300k places in last month so on a good run, current squad

    Mannone Mc Gregor
    Coleman Sagna Ward,Cahill,Clyne
    Hazard Sterling Silva Lallana Zaha
    J Rod Dzeko Suarez

Basically wondering should I go Dzeko to Sturridge for few weeks?Silva not performing but would people hold onto 2nd transfer to cope with GW 28
    Really appreciate any views.
Ps....what clubs look like having no games that week?

Still mulling over Sterling. Someone choose for me! I want to play him but who gets benched for him? Gah.

Is it too risky to double up on west ham??

Already have Adrian and with chambers/ryan bennett out of combat I need a cheap defender: James Collins

West Ham kept 3 straight clean sheets: Chelsea (A); Swansea (H) and Aston Villa (A).

Their next fixtures look decent: Norwich (H); Southampton (H); Everton (A); Hull (H); Stoke (A)

At 4.1 it isn't even that much of a risk, worth a go.

I've had both Yaya and Silva in recent times, always managing to pick the one that didn't score... I brought Yaya in last week mostly because Aguero got injured so hes back on set pieces, mainly pens. This shifts him above Silva, but he is definitely playing a much deeper role than I've seen all season. He might be shaking off a knock, but more than this I think it's the fact that City haven't been scoring. It's usually 2 or 3 goals in that Yaya wanders up to a CF position.

I think ill go with nolan, the fact he plays in gw28 is a big plus, and itll give me a nice bit of money in the bank in preparation for the mayhem thats coming.

Mata & Oscar OUT ... Hazard & Nolan IN.

Is it worth the -4 hit?

Thinking of Mata out for Lallana. Thoughts? Two tough away fixtures and a blank on way. Lallana or Mirallas?

If I didn't have Yaya, I wouldn't bring him in now. My own opinion is that Fernandinho being out is effecting how often he can get forward. He needs to cover more because they don't have the same stability with Fernandino missing.

Liverpool have scored more goals from set pieces this season than any other team. 21 goals I think it stands at now and guess who takes the majority of them.....

I dropped Gerrard for Mata last week (bad decision I guess since I lost two points) due to Gerrard playing so deep now that he gets no goals or assists from open play. Who knows if Lucas coming back soon will affect that.

Id be inclined to leave it alone and keep the 2 free xfers. Check the line ups for tonight when they come through

Brought in Cahill and Gerrard for Kolarov and Ozil. Will upgrade Giroud next week

Gonna do mariappa out demel in. 2 FT carried over to next week. Which 2 out of Koscielny (MUN), Azpi (WBA) and Demel (NOR) should I play? Leaning towards the former two.

I'm thinking of RVP out for Adebayor. I like Ade's fixtures and United will be missing GW 28.

On the other hand, it's RVP.....and United are guaranteed to play in GW 29 while Spurs are not.

    Stick or twist?

I'd play Azpi and Demel. I know Utd are a bit rubbish at the minute but they'll surely raise their game against Arsenal.

I'll bring in Tomkins for Evans. Still undecided on Santi out for Hazard for -4. Contemplating Silva but will have to sell again in 2 weeks probably and Cazorla is well able to score. Danny G and Bennett need looking at too so it's a transfer I'd rather not have to make so Hazard would be more logical on all fronts probably!

The latter 2 I'd say, as bad as it'd have been they'll prob score 1 anyway. Maybe wait for the Chelsea team to be announced though, Azpi is due a rest IMO

Mata and Lallana (assuming you have liverpool coverage with either Suarez or Sturridge)

    Evans -> Tomkins
    Cazorla -> Hazard

Done for -4. Reluctantly made the second one but needs must.

That's been my bigger combo. Max I see Mata getting against Arsenal is 7 points--if even, but I also worry Sterling will have a stinker and do nothing, which you know, he does a lot. :o They both have the capacity to do nothing/something.

The moral of the story is that there is no right answer, hence the indecision.

    Edit: currently considering benching Lallana.

Adam (Johnson) out, (Charlie) Adam in

Risking the scoring against his old club gods with this one

Debating a last minute Ozil to Lallana for -4 but I know I probably shouldn't.

Cue Mata scoring a hat-trick and Sterling falling over and breaking his leg after two minutes!

It's done now. Can't really see Utd doing much against Arsenal, but who knows?

Mata had a good record against Arsenal with Chelsea so that may continue...though as an Arsenal fan I hope not!

Shhhhhh. :p Well, at this stage what'll be will be and Mata's hanging out on my bench so if he does something, then I've made quite the mistake.

bollox, my decison tonight was do i start shaw away to hull or bring collins in for bruce, then bruce surprisngly starts so i put him in.

would have been nice to have done the collins transfer but i was also very close to pulling the trigger on toure to nolan sunday when nolan was due to rise and i was sure toure would be banned, so i escaped one and another one cost me, evened itself out.

why is gw 27 transfer thread locked??

thinking of bringing collins in for bruce before his price rise tonight as i think west ham defence cover is becoming crucial and i don't see bruce holding down a place. i have 2 ft's this week.

Bruce will start for the foreseeable future; McShane fractured ankle apparently.
