Been thinking of downgrading clyne to chambers, who was starting ahead of him the last few weeks until he got a wee knock the other week and came on last 10 today for clyne. Do people think chambers will be first choice when both are fully fit?

Clyne has gotten a few niggling injuries but has been "officially" fit to play on a few occasions when Chambers has played instead of him. You'd be taking a risk picking one one over the other imo.

Looking at Oscar Bardsley for Ivan Sterling-
Think both on great form and price will rocket, price hits working so far think its worth taking as want chelsea def cover anyways

Any potential differentials with favourable fixtures in the coming weeks for coleman?? a few in my league have them and could do with making up some ground.

Is Adrián guaranteed his place in the West Ham team now?

Any news on Terry lads? I was thinking about Azpi in but then I'm wondering will Mourinho throw Cole the odd game with the fixtures piling up.

Cole will probably play the fa cup game at the weekend.

sorry if this were already discussed, haven't been on here since yesrterday morning.
but assuming ya ya picks up a 3 match ban (although you never know with that shambles of inconsistency that is the fa)
are the games he'd miss be sunderland, then chelsea in the cup and stoke? and then he has a blank week?
if city appeal it is there a chance he'll play against sunderland? (again, i'm just assuming the FA will stick to their own rules and charge him here but they are a bit of a joke when it comes to such things)

Do you not think Jose will put his best 11 out against City rather than West Brom? Him and Pellegrini are already niggling at each other since Monday night.

Mourinho: 'John Terry has not an injury but almost an injury. It was a decision whether to play him or not, and we decided not to risk.'#CFC

Mourinho: 'Normally Terry will be okay for Tuesday's game.' #CFC

I'm not normally a fan of doubling up but I'm seriously thinking of doing it with Chelsea.

It has paid off so far for me, barring the Hernandez goal for United I would have had 8/8 CS's.
Still very happy with 6/8 in the last 4GWs. Chelsea the only team in town for doubling up at present IMO.

Gabbidon losing his place and Bruce out of the reckoning has created a major problem for me. May need to take a hit to upgrade swap out one of them. El Hamadi seems to have been dropped for Villa as well so my lack of back-up is killing me

I would guess it wouldn't be sorted by Wednesday so he'd miss Chelsea (FA Cup), Stoke, Sunderland (League Cup). Wouldn't be disastrous then if only one PL match.

yeah if that was the case it wouldn't be too bad FF wise. I think the FA try fast track things now though so we should hear tomorrow.
It should be a no-brainer, 3 match ban as the rules state but the FA act very bizarrely and inconstantly.

Didn't Torres get off earlier in the season for scratching Vertonghen's face? That was worse than anything Yaya done.

I have two transfers so don't mind him getting a ban. West Ham have a good run so might bandwagon Kevin Nolan in.

The fa changed their rules after that Torres incident I think.

    Yep

I remember the incident but can't remember if he got banned. sometimes they get away with it if one of the officials seen it. for example, that horror challenge by mcmanaman of wigan last year got a yellow card at the time so they couldn't punish him futher.
But surely if any of the officials seen yaya kick out he would have been sent off. so from what I gather will happen, is, the FA will ask the ref, if you had seen that incident would you have sent him off. he will of course have to say yes and it's a 3 match ban.
but it wouldn't be the first time before that "I've been sure" someone would be banned and wasn't,as I said, if one of the linesmen says he seen it, they might get away with it.

I was thinking of jumping on the Nolan bandwagon too, given his current form and next 2 fixtures, would be easy swap toure back in then after his ban. I got toure recently too so have no money invested in him (he's gone up .1) only problem is, kevin Nolan will rise .1 tonight, we won't hear about toure until tomorrow and I don't think I want to risk not having toure against sunderland if he were to get away with it.

Apparently that has been changed since. Doesnt matter if the action is seen or not, retrospective action can be taken either way

I'm holding off on Nolan. Don't mind if he's .1 more expensive. Value isn't as important now as it was pre wildcard. I have 2.9 million or so in the bank since I changed Aguero for Sturridge anyway.

I also have 3 expensive defenders and will gladly drop one if a transfer requires it.

Can't ignore Sterling any longer. Playing forward for the leagues' 2nd top scorers as a 5.3mid. Januzaj out, no longer getting his game and Sterling looking like getting more points

I had a look at his points earlier. Has he not been scoring poorly until this week?

Yup, the last couple of GW's paint him in a brighter light. He's not someone you'd have in your team week in week out.

Transfers done for a 4 point hit

    Out: Terry, Januzaj, RVP
    In: Mertesacker, Nolan, Sturridge

Terry out for Mertesacker as Terry will probably miss the next game and I planned to get Mertesacker in at some stage. Fancy them to keep a clean sheet at home to Utd.
Studge scored a hat trick in the same match last year. Nuff said. RVP is too costly. Got him in when Aguero got injured and will be getting Aguero straight back in when hes fit. Trying different Forward combinations in the meantime Other forward is Suarez. Captained RVP the last two games over suarez and it worked out, however I needed some more money in midfield and it meant RVP had to go.
AJ is not getting game time and Nolan is on good form.

Anyone want to convince me to get Nolan in for Eriksen? He has 32 points in the last 2 weeks but he's been fairly poor for pretty much the entire season. The bandwagoner in me wants him but I just can't justify it looking at his record up until last week.

Good fixtures and he's a proven PL player. I don't see why you need convincing. He's playing well.

Big Sam has put him back where he belongs behind the striker. Earlier in the season he was playing further back afaik.

Eriksen to Nolan is what I'm pondering as well. The Dane is a nifty little player but doesn't seem to be able to transfer his ability into FF points.

    No more than Januzaj
