    palace also signed hennessey from wolves which may mean speroni dropped.

    Would Hennessey be challenging for a spot? Speroni has done well surely?

    Signed, Worried Speroni Owner.

    Clichy had a great game the other night I heard but I'd expect Kolarov to come back in personally.

    Oscar -> Mirallas to free up funds for Aguero -> RVP is what I'm thinking now.

    Mirallas can surely make it 3rd time lucky...right?

    Anyone know what happened with Bardsley midweek? He got subbed at half time but he had been booked so I'm hoping that had something to do with it. I have Coleman and Whittaker both not playing this weekend so I need to decide if I should stick with Bardsley or take a hit to bring in someone else.

    I dunno, I'm not convinced by Everton.

    I got Eriksen in recently and have been impressed with his returns. Averaging over 8 points a game for the last 4 games. And 2 of those games were against Man U and Man C. Next 5 games are Hull, Everton, Newc, Norwich and Cardiff.

    Though Eriksen is 0.1 higher than Mirallas, so that might mess up your RVP plan.

    Am thinking now of Aguero and Coleman out and RVP and Jon Flanagan in.

    The pools next fixtures are WBA(a), Arsenal (h), Fulham (a), Swansea (h), Soton (a), Sunderland (h) and with Enrique out Flanagan is nailed at left back and at 4.3m too

    So lads, will it take a 4 point hit and get Dzeko (Chelsea - home) in for Jay Rodriguez (Fulham away) leaving me with a front 3 of SAS and Dzeko or leave it with SAS and Jay Rod and get Dzeko in next week?

    Thanks :)

    I would expect J-Rod to outscore Dzeko this week. Wouldn't swap, definitely not for a hit. Avoid the bandwagons...

    As for the Sturridge/Benteke question - tossed a coin. Sturridge it is. Sorry to all that own him.

    Anyone else thinking about Benteke... He seems to be hitting form scored in the last three league games....plus has a handy enough run

    Any advice on these transfers ?

    Lallana -> Mata
    Rodriguez -> Dzeko
    Aguero -> Sturridge

    I'm probably looking at Aguero to Benteke and Meyler to Lallana.

    Both seem to have good fixture in Aguero's abscence.

    Anybody see any glaring reason that won't work?

    It will leave me with no City player v Chelsea, but I'll be getting Silva (or maybe Yaya with the penalties) back in next week.

    A lot of love for Dzeko here over Negredo. As most people are moving from Aguero I don't think it's a price issue and Negrodo's surely the better finisher.

    FFS - I was all set to go with Sturridge and then Benteke gets mentioned. I had ignored him due to his massive barren spell (not a single goal or assist since GW4) but then in GW21 he's sparked back to life. 3 goals 1 assist against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal. Is this him returning to glory or just a run of good form in an otherwise bad season? His fixtures are slightly better than Sturridge's, and I don't really fancy having Sturridge and Suarez against Arsenal's backline. He's £0.8m cheaper but this is negligible, I need the player who will score most over the next few GW's. The red line is where I would expect Aguero to return, and both Sturridge and Benteke's fixtures toughen up a bit here. A key thing to take into account is the liklihood that either of these miss GW29 due to the FA Cup results. I'll be missing both Suarez and Sturridge if either Liverpool OR Southampton win their respective FA Cup ties, whereas Benteke would only be off if City beat Chelsea in their FA Cup tie.

    It sounds like I'm convincing myself to go with Tekkers, but tbh Sturridge is still 70% fav. He has looked phenomenal lately, and doubling up on Pool attackers has not been an issue all season. They could run riot against a West Brom side that conceded 4 against Villa a few days ago. And SAS already ran riot against them earlier this year. Get the feeling I'm going to end up tossing a coin, at least then I can blame the Gods.

    What I was thinking was Sturridge for this week and then swapping him with Benteke after that.........

    Anyone else feel getting in Dzeko this week a bit worrying? Besides the competition from Jovetic, Chelsea will be very defensive set and are extremely hard to break down recently. 5 clean sheets from the last 7 games?

    Aguero & Ramsey out
    Mata & Dzeko in
    2.1M in the kitty

    Flanagan will start at right back, Cissokho at left back (as at Everton). GlenJo is out for a month or so, so he looks like a good option.

    Aguero out for Dzeko, which gives me funds to get Ramsey out for either Ozil or Mata, and I'm torn. I'm putting it to the good folk of the forum, what do you think?

    MATA!

    Dzeko worries me though. I think Negredo, Dzeko, and Jovetic will all get relatively even game time in the absence of Aguero.

    I'm just not convinced about United - the performance at home to Cardiff was not convincing at all.

    I'm not too worried about Dzeko, I reckon he and Negredo will be the main partnership in Aguero's absence, I don't think Jovetic will make too many starts ahead of them.

    To be fair, when you consider who was playing..

    RVP - First game back from injury, lacking match fitness.

    Rooney - First game back from injury, lacking match fitness.

    Mata - Has hardly played all season, lacking match fitness.

    Giggs - 40

    Jones - Not a midfielder, second game back from injury.

    It's not that surprising they weren't at their best..

    I currently have Ade and there's no way in hell I'm trusting Spurs with 2 of my attacking players but if I didn't have him then it's probably where I would be looking. Well I can afford up to 7.8 but I have Lallana too. Johnson should burn out in 2 weeks time. Mirallas should be playing up front for 2 GWs anyway but I don't trust him either.

    I recall Aguero getting injured last time is what brought about the bout of awful form I've just arrested. I'll think of something I'm sure.

    Just done:
    Aguero -> Rodriquez
    Noone -> Yaya

    Giving me the attatched team.
    Unsure whether i should start Rodriquez instead of Silva since i think Chelsea are going to line up very defensively. Any ideas?

    West Ham fan here.

    No is the simple answer. Ried is a definite. Then it's between Collins and Tompkins for the other CB spot, Demmel and McCartney for the RB spot, Rat looks to have RB to himself with O'Brien's injury, but rumours of a new colombian RB joining today.

    Colombian RB has joined. Think he's called Anero.

    Went out for a run to gather my thoughts on this one, still couldn't decide between the two. Then loaded FPL website, arranged all strikers by value and asked the football clueless gf which out of this entire list should I go with. Totally out of the blue when picked Benteke (pronounced "Bean - tee - key"). That's swaywed it for me. Is she's picking him out of the blue, it's a sign.

    And for what it's worth, Chelsea have gone to Old Trafford and Emirates so far this year, parked the bus, played no strikers and came away with a 0-0. Hence me avoiding Man City strikers this week.
