    75 points this week but my team is now a mess.

    Aguero, Coleman, Ramsey and Chester all out.

    Thinking of taking a 4 point hit this week and going:

    Aguero -> Dzeko/Negredo
    Coleman -> Sagna.

    Chester for Ward will be the change the week after. Not too sure what to do with the excess cash from Aguero!

    Actually had a complete change of thought.

    West Ham have hugely favourable fixtures coming up and I think Chelsea could really stifle City on Monday.

    So:

    Aguero -> Sturridge
    Coleman -> Demel/Collins.

    Is James Collins a nailed on starter again for West Ham now back after injury? He's only 4.1m and West Ham's upcoming fixtures are:

    Swansea (h)
    Villa (a)
    Norwich (h)
    Southampton (h)
    Everton (a)
    Hull (h)
    Stoke (a)

    If only they had any sort of an attacking threat too.

    Ade in Aguero out..will strenghten midfield with remaining.

    by the time aguero is fit his price might have dropped to 12.1 ish

    Is Chambers now a nailed on starter for the Saints?

    I think Clyne and Chambers are about equal so I wouldn't feel comfortable transferring in either of them. Time will tell.

    Wenger seems to be keeping it quiet. No news is generally good news.

    Just found this actually..
    Arsenal boss gives Wilshere, Rosicky and Ramsey fitness update ahead of Palace clash
    Arsenal will be missing Jack Wilshere for Sunday’s game with Crystal Palace but could return for the game at Liverpool.

    “We have good news,” Wenger said on the midfielder. “For Sunday [Wilshere] will be short but he has a chance to be available for the week after at Liverpool.”

    However it is bad news as player of the season so far Aaron Ramsey has had a setback.

    “Ramsey will be out for longer because he had a setback and it doesn’t look too good,” he added. “It is matter of some weeks for him.”

    There is better news as Tomas Rosicky is set to be fit for the game against the Eagles, while Mathieu Flamini is banned for three matches – Palace, Liverpool and Manchester United.

    “Not from Southampton, we have no problems apart from Flamini who we lose through suspension,” Wenger explained.

    “Everybody else should be available. We could have Rosicky back again for Sunday. He had problems after surgery on his nose. So we lose Flamini but we gain Rosicky.”

    Coleman gone from orange to red flag, now wont be back till at least 9th of Feb according to FPL.

    F**k - Coleman has gone red flagged on FPL.

    Was hoping to hold off transferring him but will have to play Ward away to Arsenal. Colemans next fixtures after the weekend are Spurs (A), Palace (H) and Chelsea (A). Coupled with Aguero being crocked, I might have to consider an 8 point hit! Had 2 FT's coming into this week and thought I'd be alright. Post wildcard injuries to 4 players is a bit ridiculous!

    Looking at Sturridge myself if Aguero has to go. Too much uncertainty surrounding Rooney both in terms of whether he'll start and where he'll play. If I could afford RVP I'd do that though. If Yaya became doubtful I might be pulled in that direction though with a double transfer.

    Am in the same boat with Coleman. But A CP defender away to a midfield-depleted Arsenal team is not essentially requiring a 4 pts hit?

    Who would you go for? Cardiff-Norwich has 0-0 written on it but the long term prospect of these 2 teams is not that appealing. WH are the flavour of the moment but have kept their last 2 CS away...

    Probably will go with Aguero to Sturridge although Aguero to Dzeko leaves me with a nice bit in the bank to strengthen elsewhere. Whether or not he'll start is the question, I already have Suarez and Jay Rod.

    Anyone else in a similar situation?

    Thats rough alright. I've to get rid of 2, and finding that tough. Thinking of grabbing rvp as i reckon a lot of people will dump Aguero for him.

    Exact same. Am considering moving back to Adebayor instead of Sturridge.

    Really can't decide on Dzeko or Sturridge. I have Suarez so maybe leaning towards Dzeko with his price tag.

    Looks like everyone is on board the Aguero -> Sturridge train. The latter rose in price last night and is already over 40% NTI today :eek:.

    That's why i jumped on Sturridge last night. He will rise quickly in value and Aguero will drop 0.1 or 0.2 so i expect to be able to bring him back in with a minimal deficit cost. Might even make profit on the transfer if aguero is out for a while and Sturridge continues his good form

    Struggling with injuries after this week! Coleman, Lukaku and Ramsey all out! Gonna have to take a -4 hit at least. Might chance Lukaku -> Rooney(have some cash in the bank) but struggling for a good midfielder to replace Ramsey, currently have Lallana, Toure, Januzai and Morrison, any suggestions welcome!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,700 ✭✭✭Danger781

    I dont think the Aguero injury will be severe. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back on Saturday week for the Norwich game. He only left the field as a precaution.

    He'll likely drop 0.1, maybe 0.2 in that time. If he drops 0.2 I'd be able to bring him back in at no cost.

    Adam johnson is scoring for fun at the moment and would be a good replacement for Ramsey.

    Any Arsenal fans or anyone at all reckon Gnabry will start again against Palace at the weekend? Have him and Colback as my two cheap mods with Yaya, Hazard and Mata.

    Will I leave him in and just do Aguero to Dzeko/Sturridge/Negredo and leave it at that or use the money I'll bank from the Aguero transfer to get a better midfielder than Gnabry/Colback and take a -4 hit.

    All aboard the thoughts train :)

    Disaster, Chester, Coleman, Aguero injured and Kolarov dropped.

    Might hang onto Coleman for one more week but the potential combination of changes I can make is already wrecking my head!

    I thought about Dzeko for Aguero but i think Maureen will do an Allardyce v City.

    But that would be hypocritical of the special one. Surely not!

    I reckon he will myself. Away against United and Arsenal that's exactly what he did. He'd be more than happy to get out of the Etihad with a point. There's too many uncertainties with Jovetic and Negredo being at City as well with Dzeko.

    I reckon Sturridge may be the way to go, even if just for this weekend. I can bring him in and then bring Aguero back in next week if needed.

    West Brom conceded 4 against Villa. Imagine what SAS could do to them.

    Takes a real ermmm.....'character' to complain about other managers moaning either side of a moaning spree by said 'character' himself. Wenger always moans, no Chelsea coverage in punditry, all LFC, 19th century football from possibly the most boring manager ever with the value of squad he has.

    Etc etc..

    Yea, id see it like that, best option until Aguero is back, not sure Dzeko fits that and Sturridge looked possesed. Will probly go with him.

    Problem with parking the bus at the Etihad is that it won't last, there's no way they can soak up pressure from that attack(even without Aguero) for 90 minutes, I think Mourinho is smart enough to know that it's not really an option in this case. They won't be wide open by any means but they will need to score, if there is an early goal it could be akin to the City v Arsenal game. I'll almost certainly leave Terry on the bench this weekend as I'd only be hoping for attacking points.

    Matinez said Coleman "should be available" for the Spurs game, GW 25. Are people still going to transfer him out, for a hit? They seem to have alternate tasty/horrible fixtures for a while.

    Just played wildcard befOre Tuesday and now looking at an injury list of ramsey, coleman and Aguerro. DISASTER

    took an 8 point hit.....the GW after a wildcard... grim times !!!
    coleman, ramsey and Aguerro out
    Fonte, Yaya, Ade in

    My season is over (its been one thing after another....the worst being making 8 changes a few months ago and forgetting to hit wildcard button), so just going to roll the dice

    You do know that you can play the wildcard after you've made transfers?? So the points deduction would have been wiped out.
