Oh and now he decided to have a wee walk. He must be the size of a small pig by the sound it! So off he goes stomping and squeaking

Are you sure it's not the lads installing your water meter?

Cyclists breaking lights. I'm sorry, but if you are part of traffic you adhere to the rules of the road like everyone else. If a light is red YOU STOP!

    Darn tooting.

I was at a T junction this morning joining the main road, stopped at the line, no traffic in either direction. A cyclist was approaching from my right at a decent pace, so I remained where I was. The cyclist was then slowing down and giving me the 'hatred for motorist' eyes, I figured he was just anticipating me pulling out in front of him, but the stare from him continued as he continued to slow down.
Then he turned left down the road I was on without indicating and still staring at me. Even a nod or a little gesture to show you are turning would be pleasant!

Besides the whole lack of indicating where he was going, I really get the feeling that he wouldn't have turned left and continued on if I had have moved out, just to have a barney and feel righteous and high and mighty. He had that *look* about him.

Disclaimer - there are sh*te drivers as well yada yada, dont want to start a cyclist V motorist debate, just my trivial annoyance from 1 individual this morning :)

I hate feckin birds, there I've said it. They start chirping here at 4 a.m. I want to kill them.

Defensive stuck up bored housewives who are obviously just sitting by the phone waiting to be offended.
This morning I had a missed call from a Dublin number. I literally missed it by a few seconds, so straight away I hit the redial button. This wan answers and I explain I'm just returning the call as I had a missed call from that number.

Well the crazy bitch lost it. "Who are you? Where are you from?! It certainly wasnt me or anyone in my household calling you. You have made a mistake!" and hung up on me!! Left me on the other end of the phone with my mouth open.

I'm still raging, why so defensive

If it makes any of you bird haters out there feel any better I killed one this morning.

It was one of those small finch like things that didn't get out of the way of the car in time.

    Google translate.

When you open a foreign language page, their pop-up box offers the options of 'Translate' or 'Nope'. Nope!!! What sort of word is that...

Drives me nuts - and drives me nuts that it drives me nuts as I think I must be getting old...

Just annoys me that it appears, you typing something and all of a sudden, would you like this page translated, even though most of the page is in English

Cookies warnings that are on all sites now  I know I knew in the late 1990s .... I must be getting old.

Ugh, bloody weetabix. I had it for breakfast this morning and it's like swallowing lead paste. It was alright going down, but it's after settling at the bottom of my stomach.

I feel like a bloated, pregnant man! :(

I would be quite impressed with the burglars if they got on top of that roof. My room is on the 4th floor and the roof isn't flat either :)

It doesn't happen very often, but there have been a couple of times catching up on this thread with my morning coffee I've managed to drench my phone, or the laptop. There was that choking episode with the food after reading an "eisenberg special"... :D

But it's a bit of a meme like the banjo string snapping thing really. It's more a turn of phrase would make me snort than the story itself, the recent dating disasters thread with mike_ie's posts though, I thought I was gonna pass out I was laughing so hard! :D

I was enjoying a nice read and then the bitch next door decided to prance about on wooden floors in high heels for the past half hour, she's still at it. Fcuking bint, I hate her so, so much for so, so many reasons. Urge to kill rising:mad:

Trivial annoyance - I cannot do accents. Every attempt ends up being some sort of Jamaican/Dublinese hybrid.

Totally off topic. Everybody must try this.
Say the 2 words 'Beer' 'Can'.
    Say them again.

You have just mastered how to say bacon in a Jamaican accent.

Couples who queue at the bank/post office counter when only one of them needs to be there. They take up space and slow things down. Had a bizarre young wan ahead of me this morning. The top half of her was Goth the bottom half was Gladiator sandals and leopard print socks:confused:

I don't mind that, because your now one space a head in the queue. What annoys me is when I am in a McD's or BurgerKing and I am at the back of the queue deciding which queue I should be in, I seem to always take the queue with the person ordering for 5 families, out come the happy meal bags.

Now the thought of the sight of that, almost made me splutter coffee on the keyboard. I mean, WTF?? do these people not have a mirror in the entire house? What would you call that style? Glathic? Gothiator? I
