Never going to happen.

And without it, they will never reach the numbers they want.

Absolutly no reason they cant have Raw and Smackdown on the Network a couple of days later. TV gets the first airing, then the Network gets it a couple of days later. Right now, cheap PPV's are the only attraction to the majority of the audiance. Add Raw and Smackdown and it becomes a lot more attractive.

Bryan Alvarez says the average Network user watched the Network on 2.5 devices.

There's more money to be made from selling TV rights for Raw and Smackdown. With PPVs, they were only getting 50%.

It all depends on the agreements they have with TV stations across the world. I don't know the details so I won't get into it.

    Via PWInsider:

Additional confirmation that Ireland as its own "entity" will have the Network October 1st:
WWE.com has posted a nice feature on their site to advise when WWE Network will be available internationally, with the ability to search by country. Some countries and territories appear to have the Network available even earlier than scheduled!

The following countries and territories already have the WWE Network available on various devices (not always the same for each country); Albania, American Samoa, Andorra, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bermuda, Bolivia, Bonaire/Saint Eusatius and Saba, Bosnia, Botswana, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Brunei Darussalam, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, Colombia, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Croatia, Curacao, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Faroe Islands, Fiji, Finland, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Gabon, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guam, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Liberia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Malta, Marshall Islands, Martinique, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Mexico, Micronesia, Moldova, Mongolia, Monserrat, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Norway, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reunion, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Helena, Saint Lucia, Saint Maarten, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Africa, South Korea, South Sudan, Spain, St. Kitts and Nevis, Suriname, Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands, Swaziland, Sweden, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Timor Leste (West), Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uganda, Ukraine, United Republic of Tanzania, United States, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Vietnam, Virgin Islands (US), Western Sahara, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The following countries and territories will have WWE Network made available to them at a later date; Canada (on August 12), Guernsey and Alderney (on October 1), Ireland (on October 1), Island of Man (on October 1), Jersey (on October 1), and the United Kingdom (on October 1).

The following countries and territories neither have WWE Network available for them nor an announced date of availability; Afghanistan, Algeria, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, Germany, India, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Maldives, Monaco, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Qatar, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Vatican City, and Yemen. WWE does say to check these for updates on these countries periodically, implying that they are planning or working on eventually expanding there but don’t have anything set in stone.

WWE also had Anguilla, Bulgaria, and Costa Rica listed, but their search did not return any results for these countries.

Any countries not included are not on WWE’s search, which likely this means that WWE currently has no intentions to make the WWE Network available in them (provided their omissions are not by accident).

I’m not sure why they haven’t publicized this more, though I imagine it would then become embarrassing to explain why WWE is available in so many places but no plans (yet) Germany or Italy or Japan where they have huge fanbases.

Also revealed yesterday was that Monday Nitro episodes will be uploaded in the next 45 days.

    Awesome!

I've recently gone back to the Network, after having no internet access for the past 3 weeks or so. Can't wait for this, and the Monday Night Wars program!

I can't imagine many of those places having particularly strong internet connections would they?

From what I have heard international pricing of WWE Network will be same price as US.

So if we get an OTT service like US version, €9.99/month with a six-month commitment or just €19.99 for just a single month.

Any else think the quality of the web-browser version deterioriated? Looks a bit fuzzy now watching NXT, deffo doesn't look like 720p HD.

I think so as well, that's why I prefer to watch WWE Network on my PS3 instead on my laptop.

i am sure wwe wants that but nbc universal have different ideas. they have always been extremely protective of raw especially which they don't allow tvreplays of or ondemand replays on the main usa network site like all the other first run shows on that channel

Also, there's a USA Network app which lets you watch shows as they air on TV but it is not available for WWE. USA are very protective of it. There's also the Hulu deal. Be nice if the replays were on within a week at the least.

Could someone link to the page to subscribe to the network ? I can't seem to find it.

Network.wwe.com just gives me a link for the app and the 'pur hase wwe network' link takes me here www.wwe.com/shows/howtowatch but I can't see a way to buy it  When I click on Buy Now it redirects to the same page

You might need an American IP address to get to it.

Thanks for that. Bizarre that that link to just even sign-up is hard to find, using an android phone anyway. Netflix allows you sign up through whatever device you access on but these 9.99'ers make you go through their website.

Has there been anything interesting uploaded in the last month?

    WWE One Night Stand 2008

It is a fun PPV to watch if you haven't seen it already.

I like WCW Spring Stampede 99. First WCW VHS I ever bought.

If you've not seen it, In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede is very good and probably still one of the hottest WWF crowds to date. Since it's that time of year, Summerslam 1997 is decent, SummerSlam 1998 is good.

NWA/WCW: most of the Starrcades are worth a watch if you like their style. Most of the 1989 NWA shows (including the Clashes) were very good particularly anything with Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat or Terry Funk.

ECW's best PPVs in no particular were probably Barely Legal, Heatwave 1998 and Anarchy Rulz 99.

Superbrawl 3(1993) is a good show.

If you're strictly into WWE, Vengeance 2003 is a good show, and Backlash 2009 is excellent.

Vengeance 2002 is also very good as is No Mercy 2002. The latter has a very good tag match between Edge/Mysterio against Kurt Angle and some bloke.

I recall enjoying No Way Out 2001 which was the one with the Austin vs HHH 2 out of 3 falls.

Fully Loaded 2000 is a hot show well worth a look if you've not seen it. HHH vs Jericho Last Man Standing is probably the best LMS match I've seen WWF do.

Thanks for all the suggestions lads! In regards fully loaded 2000, what a ppv that was, love the rikishi and val venis match!

Guilty as charged with Awesome v Spike was one of my favourite ppvs i owned, ppvs like that always seem to get my attention more, as i know they are good.

Must of seeing survivor seried 89 and great american bash 90 as a kid a million times, but they were the first thing i searched for and watch again! Same with Mania 8 ( second favourite mania after 17)

I normally just end up watching the documentries most of the time.

Aye, Fully Loaded 2000 might be the best B-PPV of the WWF's boom period. In terms of wrestling quality 1999 was quite poor but 2000 was mostly pretty good. Backlash 2000 is great too.

I always had a thing for Survivor Series 1988 as I rented that on tape a lot. Though I also rented In Your House 3 a lot :p

Re-subscribed to the Network today to get the.... NINE NINETY NINE DEAL!! I'm assuming they will be front-loading the $60 sometime soon so I should have an out if the Autumn-Winter period sucks.

Watched a bit of Smackdown September 16th 1999. It was around the time they did the angle with the referees on strike, HHH was champion. He lost to Vince in a WWF ttle match, Big Bossman and Al Snow had a "dead dog jn a bag on a pole" match and other shenanigans....

Trip's outfits in 1999 were questionable. Must've borrowed Shawn Michaels' glasses.

@Sirsok, have you seen all the documentaries in the 'Beyond the Ring' section? They're missing a few essentials like the Jake Roberts one.

There's some good ones up there. Some of the 'WrestleMania Rewind' episodes are worth a luck too.
