@Sirsok, have you seen all the documentaries in the 'Beyond the Ring' section? They're missing a few essentials like the Jake Roberts one.

There's some good ones up there. Some of the 'WrestleMania Rewind' episodes are worth a luck too.

I've seen most of them was disappointed with jakes exclusion as I was with the mr.perfect documentary not on it, triple H's documentary is very good. Was going to watch Edges one th other day but settled for the legends of wrestling round table, really like them shows, fits all my nostalgic cravings into an hour! Watched half of survivor series 90 a while back before falling asleep, loved how those ppvs where presented

I'm guessing you can only change your payment plan for WWE Network after current billing period for the month since I don't see any options to change payment plan for WWE Network.

There is a way to do it I believe. It's nestled in there somewhere in the account settings.
Pretty sure I saw it befor. Am on phone atm and can't access the site as it keeps redirecting me to download the app

$12.99 sounds alot better than $19.99 monthly with no commitment.

As far as I can see that is the worldwide pricing in $.

So it will be about €10 here pre month with no commitment depending on exchange rates.

Glitchy as f*ck the last few hours. Damn those 170 other countries! Hopefully Summerslam holds up. If not I'll just go to sleep and watch the on demand version.

Aye, that's about €3.50. I wangled another free week mind.

I wonder why the US Netflix DNS codes don't work for the Network.

Not working for me either the live stream plays okay but can't load any of the vod, their not doing a great job convincing me to renew my sub here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 182 ✭✭robvondoom

Network VOD hasn't worked for me on Chrome for a few weeks now. Initially it was crashing flash player during playback but now it plays their little jingle and then gets stuck on buffering. Plays fine on Firefox though.

when the network comes over here will I just be able to use my US log in details?

Looks like the Canada roll-out has been a bit bumpy

    http://fightnetwork.com/news/49593:law-aug.-12-update-wwe-network-launch-notes-in-canada/
The WWE Network launched internationally today and to say the least it was an underwhelming launch for Canadian viewers with access to the channel. In Canada it is $11.99 per month for the live channel (on Rogers channel 512) and the VOD service (Rogers channel 397) and despite reports last week, there will not be a free preview and neither WWE nor Rogers ever stated it was a “free preview” but many assumed when they said it would be offered as a “preview” that it must been a free one. It is still worth it to buy because the pay-per-views will be available but if you are comparing it to the U.S. version there is no comparison. A mere 39 hours of content if currently available on demand with six SummerSlam events (1992, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005), Great American Bash 1989, Bash at the Beach (1994, 1996, 1998) and ECW Heatwave (1998, 1999) and One Night Stand from June 2005. The events were poorly labeled without even listing the event name and were labeled by a numbering system, no logos for the events with an “Image Not Available” icon, there was a listing for Chris Jericho’s documentary that confused him with Brock Lesnar in the description and just felt like a rush job to get thing up for today and was poor quality control and a terrible first impression

Is the TV channel stuff not in addition to the online access?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Rogers doesn't even cover all of Canada so there will be big chunks of Canada without access to the Network for the next 10 years.

Maybe this is why we didn't get WWE Network same time as everyone because Sky want to organise are version of WWE Network a lot better than Canadian version when it launches over here.

Nope we are getting an over the top version - same as the States.

There might be minor differences I say NXT being delayed until the first airing of the show on Sky Sports. But I don't know.

I hope so but I also hope current subscribers like myself can change their payment plan soon because I am locked into WWE Network for another 4 months with 6 months commitment thing.

I know you can cancel anytime with PayPal but I prefer not to go down that route incase WWE follow up on it.

They won't. I haven't heard of this happening and they didn't follow it up with me. My sub was automatically cancelled when the Paypal payment was declined. Their financial officer more or less said on the investor conference that cancellations will happen and he gave no indication of chasing people for the money.

You should be able to change it under billing information. I do recall seeing that before.

I've actually been to Lesotho on a worktrip, quite fast 3G network I remember since nobody was using it.

One of the main reasons I have skysports is to watch WWE. If I can watch PPVs with a nw sub, skysports might not be needed.

What i meant is that can a current subscriber could change price that they pay each month like i want to pay 12.99 instead of 9.99 so that i can get out of commitment.

Doubt but I'm not sure. Cancelling and re-subscribing would seem to be the best way to do that. I re'subbed with same Paypal account and they have not come after me for the remainder of the cancelled sub. I think I used the same email address/WWE.com account which was cancelled.

The Network is a piece of garbage to be honest. There's always some sort of a problem. Today I fancied watching Legends of Wrestling Rivalries 2, since I haven't seen it. Every time I clicked it it just went back the live stream. "It's just like Netflix", if Netflix was a complete mess. They really need to fix it, makes them look so bad.

I must be the luckiest guy in the world I haven't had one problem with the network!
