Anyone got DCB email about PP pass yet? Was supposed to before weekend,
I'm not expecting an email. I would have thought it would be a letter in the post.

21s final should be interesting. Neither team was expected to win their semi final so hard to predict. Galway were very impressive for most of the game against Kerry - although Kerry and O'Connor seemed to have believed all they needed to do was turn up - but struggled in ordinary time against Sligo.

Dublin have won all their games comfortably and never been stretched. They are either very good or have not been tested. We shall find out soon!

It's a good tight game so far, couple of black card calls ref's just getting on with it

Great goal. But if the lads had any cop on they'd have taken him down along the way.

    Game on!!! :)

Scoreline very much doesn't reflect the dominance we had for the 60 plus minutes of the game.

    About what though

I think their second goal was an og. Their midfield never showed up today Imo there was a decent platform to launch an attack for most of the game

Thought we were 10 points better.

    Missed a few sitters too.

Great win. Sad that it is last of that grade.

Dublin enjoyed a huge advantage in terms of pace and athleticism. Most of the Galway lads just couldn't compete. How many times were Galway forwards beaten to the ball by their markers for example. The Dublin full back line could afford to give a couple of yards head start and still expect to get there first. Galway 7 and 3 were the only exceptions. Both were excellent.

Anyway....serious team Dublin and a great achievement.

Not so sure that their number 3 had a great game overall. Thought he had a great first half but not so much in the second half. There was a penno, a complete fluff of a chance before the second goal and two great saves by their keeper. He struggled with his man's change of style after the break. When you have a keeper who's that commanding it's a great platform for number three, a number of times the keeper flattened forwards under a dropping ball or coming out with it old school, I'd imagine he's played fullback in the past.

I thought he looked ridiculously heavy in the Kerry game, but Donegal have had that type of keeper too big but a good stopper and back up number 3

For example the Galway second goal would never have been scored against them.

Galway full back was outstanding. In a game they lost he should really have won MOM. Our fellas were good.

You're a strange bunch to be constantly threatened by such comments.

Being fast and agile helps in a field game on a large pitch. To a man Dublin were fast and agile. Galway weren't.

I think the way Galway played in the second half had a part to play in that. They went chasing the game and left their full back line awfully exposed. He had to watch O'Callaghan and numerous unchallenged runners coming through the middle. Unenviable task.
