    Are we heading back to stormy weather next week, heard the forecast this morning and they said from next Wednesday turning very unsettled and windy.

    Wet and windy rather than stormy. Fairly typical Irish weather really for this time of year.

    I prefer the wind but after all the bother other people endured over it I just can't bring myself to wish for more of it.

    Th wind has the most contribution to day to day comfort or distress of mankind and nature.

    In a simple thing like a wedding couple trying to get a few pics of their day, the wind is the hardest to cope with. Young plants trying to get established can be dwarfed by prolonged windy conditions + and we're not talking about the odd wind 'storm'. :)

    No excuse for that, total stupidity. They could see the sea washing up onto the road and still went for it.

    Looks like met.ie were being quite cautious with that yellow warning for rain today. Up to 30mm possible in Dublin they said. Would be surprised if there's been 10mm?
