Do you like this mild winter we're experiencing, or prefer a whiteout ?
Mild-weather for the lead up to the holidays. Once the car is parked up for the break I'd be quite ok with some snow :)

How many comics are you working on at the moment?
    Ever had anything published?
    What's your favourite comic/GN/storyline?
    Favourite hero?
    Favourite villain?
Who would win a fight between Thor and Superman?
    Ever read Preacher?
    Hellboy?
    DC or Marvel?
    Read any indies?
Do you still collect monthlies or just GNs these days?
    Favourite (comic) writer(s) and artist(s)?

How many comics are you working on at the moment?
Just the one atm. Was working on a comic short to possibly submit to a comic for consideration but couldn't make it work so shelved it for now.
    Ever had anything published?
    Not yet.
    What's your favourite comic/GN/storyline?
Sandman. It was the first one to show me that comics could be a lot more than I had thought.
    Favourite hero?
    Dr.Strange or the silver surfer.
    Favourite villain?
    Nightmare
Who would win a fight between Thor and Superman?
I'd like to say Thor but the range of Supes abilities would probably give him the win.
    Ever read Preacher?
    Many, many times:)
    Hellboy?
Pick up a GN whenever I spot one.
    DC or Marvel?
Raised on a diet of Marvel but lately more DC, mainly due to the Vertigo label.
    Read any indies?
Heck yeah. Reading as much of the Irish small press as I can.
Them and Holy Numbers by Tommie Kelly. Innocent Tales from Green Monkey Comics. The Wren. The Celtic Clan. Celtic Knights. Cu Cuchlann by Will Sliney (currently drawing for Marvel). Various titles by Atomic Diner Comics, Darrin O'Toole and Lightning Strike Comics
Do you still collect monthlies or just GNs these days?
Just GNs, but might break that tradition for the Moon Knight comic next year, Warren Ellis writing with Declan Shalvey on the art duties :)
    Favourite (comic) writer(s) and artist(s)?
Neil Gaiman. Jack Kirby/ Mike Mignolia.

Does becoming mainstream always equate with 'selling out'?

Any colour as long as it's?

Have you put up any Christmas decorations?
    Real or fake tree?

Do you have a laundry day?

Do you try to be a nice guy? Or can people take you as you are?

If you could move to anywhere in the world, where would you move to
Ever go on a serious spending spree
    Last cd you bought
Classic lineup of Guns N' Roses or the current lineup
Do you remember the first time you heard you heard Appetite For Destruction
Do you download or buy your music
Have you heard of Alter Bridge
Would you go to either Download of Sonisphere if you had the opportunity
Would you do a better job of running the country than the current bunch of bastards currently running the country
Have you ever broken anything, leg, foot, hand,

Thank you for your time Minty :P

No. 'selling out' is doing something for the money only. Otherwise any band/musician/singer/writer etc. that becomes popular by virtue of good art would be a sell out.
Any colour as long as it's?
    Blue
Have you put up any Christmas decorations?
no. Living alone so not bothered.
    Real or fake tree?
Fake if I was to do decorations.
Do you have a laundry day?
No fixed day. Have dirty clothes then it's a laundry day :p
Do you try to be a nice guy? Or can people take you as you are?
Probably try to be a nice guy.

Yep. bought about €200 worth of music at once. Also have done the same on books/comics once or twice.
    Last cd you bought
    A-Types by Hopesfall.
Classic lineup of Guns N' Roses or the current lineup
    Classic lineup.
Do you remember the first time you heard you heard Appetite For Destruction
    Cousins house in London.
Do you download or buy your music
Buy. I can afford it and generally it's smaller bands so I'd like them to keep making music.
Have you heard of Alter Bridge
    Yep:)
Would you go to either Download of Sonisphere if you had the opportunity
Don't know much about Sonisphere so will choose that :)
Would you do a better job of running the country than the current bunch of bastards currently running the country
I'd like to think so but the public mightn't agree once I got started on policy change.
Have you ever broken anything, leg, foot, hand,
small finger. Guy tried to kick football out of my hands and broke my finger instead.
Thank you for your time Minty :P
    No problemo :P

As a kid it was Rogue Trooper.

Currently a tie between DR & Quinch and Halo Jones:)
    Mine was Slaine
Great character. Some of the greatest comic art I've ever seen has been done on that strip.

    Favourite comic book movie adaptation?
    Worst comic book movie adaptation?
What comic would you like to see made into a movie?
Ever see the dreadful 70s Doctor Strange movie?

  • Moderators Posts: 51,713 ✭✭✭✭Delirium

    Favourite comic book movie adaptation?
Persepolis. Really captured the spirit of the comic.
    Worst comic book movie adaptation?
The old spider-man movies and the Captain America one too. The villains were too ordinary and the obviously dated special effects.
What comic would you like to see made into a movie?
Mind Mgmt by Matt Kindt or The Nowhere Men. Both read like they're ready made for TV/Cinema.
Ever see the dreadful 70s Doctor Strange movie?
    NEVER HAPPENED!!!!:P:P:P

Do you drive? What do you drive? What would you like to drive?

Would you be an adrenaline junkie? What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

Do you have a bucket list? How many things are on it?

Do you have any irrational fears?

    How's your morning so far?

    Cheers :D

    Yep.
Current car is a VW Fox.

Love to get a PT Cruiser.

Would you be an adrenaline junkie? What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
Not really. Can enjoy the rush but wouldn't actively seek out those sort of activities. Get in the car with a drunk driver.
Do you have a bucket list? How many things are on it?
Not as such but have a few things I'd like to do.

    • become a published writer
    • travel to more countries
    • become fluent in at least one language
    • find the job that is a joy to do
Do you have any irrational fears?
    Gas explosions.
    How's your morning so far?
    Tipping along nicely:)
    Cheers :D
