Do people actually find this attractive? If I wanted a slave I'd buy one.

Where? I though that was illegal these days.

    It's a turn of phrase.

I know of one guy who goes along with everything the girlfriend says, as he will do anything to stay in a relationship, but pretty much all of my other male friends can and do get sex very easily when they want it
They sound lovely and romantic. :)
The guy you're talking about puts up with it because his confidence is no doubt shot by his girlfriend, and it's not easy for people in his situation just to suddenly stop putting up with it.

He does all the housework while she's the type that'd go away for a week with dirty dishes left on the table, he minds her child, fetches, carrys, cooks, has to carry her up the stairs when she comes in blind drunk etc. and that I've never once seen her lift a finger to do something considerate for him.
Seems like a fairly emotionally abusive relationship. He'd be far better off just getting the hell out, but this is easier said than done.

He's getting something out of it, whatever that may bein anyone's guess.
I'd imagine daily corroboration of his personal worldview that he is of little or no value and that he's lucky to have her. You see this kinda thing in abusive relationships.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
