    Yeah but i think the same hams were on sale today for 7.99 for 2kg Dunnes brand, i was going to get them but i dunno if i trust the Dunnes brand for ham.

    The dog enjoyed half of my trial ham from dunnes, butchers centre fillet of ham. Maybe just bad cut but very grizzly. Will be going for quality not quantity for the big day.

    Good to know, glad i did not buy it now. Think i will try the Lidl ham.

    Any ham tastes lovely if you spread ham glaze on it and bake for 20 mins at the end of boiling. I do small hams like that all year long for dinners / sandwiches

    Sprinkle frozen breadcrumbs over it too, or stud in a few cloves.
    Or use a few of those cans of coke we all bought! and cook it in coca cola for a lovely sweet flavour

    Just back from Tesco's, sausages, rashers, and a white pudd - all for 3 euros, unreal!

    One of the best dealz this month to be sure.

    The hickory bacon is fantastic and i will pop in to town to ge some more. Can anyone tell me is it just saturday that this deal is on or will it contiue untill the advent calendar is over?

    Saw someone complained the sweets and bikkies were gone - not so in cork anyway on Sunday - ALDI in togher had 3 big piles of Quality Street at €4.99, Supervalu had loads of tins of bikkies, LIDL Carrigaline had loads....wouldn't at all surprise me if there was a lot left over after Christmas. Mind you I suppose a lot can change in the 2days left.

    Anybody confirm this? I really prefer Barry's though ALDI McGraths Reserve Blend is pretty good especially for the price. Never thought to try Supervalu.

    I thought I was doing well getting it for €12 in Dunnes (Douglas) yesterday. Tenner is unreal.
