    Haha Thanks Dora,

I have a legit excuse though, didn't remember the wedding anniversary early enough this morning, for some peoples liking and took some heavy blows to the head!

Have you not a map to read or a compass to fix :)

plan today called for 8 miles easy.

caught for time this morning as I'm travelling with work and had nothing ready.

head wasn't really in the mood to run and when that happens the run usually ends up been a struggle but today picked it up a bit after a few miles and relaxed into it. Bit chilly in Connemara, were still waiting for this promised better weather. Did 7 easy miles @ 8.01.

had a meeting in Dublin this afternoon and once that finished I headed to the PP about 7 to get the some of the stiffness out of the legs after the drive. Great to see all shapes and sizes of people out running in the last of the evening sun. Stopped by the cricket pitch/lawn/arena/patch to watch for a few seconds, didnt seem to be much happening but it didn't stop a big shout going up from the participants, maybe it was time for tea! Slightly bemused I continued on my jog. Got 5 miles in at recovery pace.

The hotel I'm in has a very small pool and there was a water "spout" on one side that was shooting out jets of high pressurised water, great for massaging tired muscles. Jumped into the nicely hot jacuzzi and finished up with a steam bath. Strolled down to the shop for an Almond Magnum and a bottle of water. Ahhh self indulgence! Won't be so smug tomorrow as I've a session to do.

Total miles today 12 (Dora if you're about you might check my sums tonight :) )

I thought about it, but it was last minute and I thought my recovery pace would have driven you mad. Then again you could have walked the dog!

So yesterday you were told to do 4 in the morning and 6 in the evening and you did 6 in the morning and 7 in the evening (that's 13 btw ;))
Today you were supposed to do 8 in the 1 go so you did 12 over 2 runs.

Just one quick question TbL, do you ever follow the coaches plan? :p

Usually blindingly follow it Meno but had to make an executive decision as I'm in London tomorrow evening through Friday and have little window of opportunity to run! Bit of front loading required.

I did run this evening at recovery pace in the hope that I don't get my arse kicked tomorrow :)

Am I the 'o so' slow one in the group only figuring out now who your new coach is?:o

Plan called for a session with Coach this morning. Had heavy legs and with Meno winding him up I wasn't looking forward to this. :)

Met up in Tymon earlier this morning and was told we'd be doing 3 x 3 miles at MP and a fourth if I felt ok. Recovery between reps was 2.5 mins. Wasn't expecting this type of longer session as we've mainly done faster shorter reps so far. Anyway after a chat and a 1.5 mile wu we got stuck into it. Felt horrible on the first mile and really laboured before slowly getting the breathing right. Started the second rep well and was feeling much better but half way through it a dog made a go for us bring us to a stop for a second. Struggled after this and was glad of the recovery that seemed to pass too quickly. Third rep started well but at mile two I knew I was goosed. Legs were gone, very heavy and breathing was all over the place. Given the state of me at that stage we decided to forget the "bonus" rep. I was happy coz it would have been messy. I've 57 miles in the legs in the last four days so probably the right call.

Finished with a mile cool down, and got a fantastic rub, legs feel better than before the session and the best they've felt in yonks. He managed to root out some niggles that were causing some issues. Great job!

Ah, he didn't take you over the bridge to the Tallaght side  that's where the magic happens away from all the sisters pearse mob. E.coli, ashamed of your roots (or just trying to keep it flat?)

Just over 3 miles so provided a consistent effort levels between each of the reps (besides he spends enough time running around the hills trying to get mobile reception to text on training back home :P)
