Picked up that E34 540i I mentioned, plan to get a Supercharger kit for it to push it to 411bhp.

Car is fine though I already fixed the Windscreen washer pump, Fog light and found most of the groaning and weirdness on the steering is as some tool put in ATF instead of CHF in the power steering reservoir.

The exhaust is some generic piece of crap, basically straight through, sounds terrible and deafening. Had to drive most of the way with the windows down, sunroof opening (so wasnt booming inside the car) and in Sports mode (to keep the RPM high to get above the low RPM drone. Burnt my scalp a bit as the day was a scorcher!

    Carpark was fun....

I lost the focus in the car park today :pac: the shopping centre in Kilkenny has a ground level and basement level. Basement is always closed as it's never busy enough but today they opened the basement parked down there thought nothing of it done my shopping came out to look for the car and it literally took me 15 minutes to find it. I was around like an idiot trying to find it :) It's the first time it's ever happened.

Also was out on my work Christmas party last night. It was the first one I was ever at and I was expecting it too be boring out but was great fun.

No macdonagh station. They literally never open the basement unless the ground floor is full. Never forgot where I parked when in there before.

I guessed as much. Really didn't think Market Cross had a basement!

Gf asked me to go to the polo to drop of bags one day two years ago, half an hour later I get a phone call wondering where the feck had I gone too?
Turns out I was on the wrong floor of the car park looking for the car! :pac:

Passed some braindead muppet on the M6, halfway to athlone from the toll bridge, doing 5-10mph in the left lane with his hazards on. Because of the bend in the road I thought he was in the hard shoulder until my lights hit the cats eyes and I was about 100m away. Think it was an Audi A4/A6 estate.

Few pints after work... Don't want to pay for a hotel for the night so I'll just drive home with the hazards on.
I'm sick if seeing obviously drunk people on the road, it seems really bad this year. :(

Might has well of been stopped there, just crawling along. They were around a bend at the bottom of a long hill and had there left indicator as an ambulance passed them, then they put there hazards on so I really expected them to be in the hard shoulder. Not sure if they were drunk or had a problem with the car or what.

Was up planespotting last night ( yes I'm a sad sad guy :)) and a guy in a mk1 focus went to pull in. He did that and proceeded to reverse back without looking and slapped into the car beside me!
Never witnessed anything like that before, your man let him go saying there was no damage but I can't understand how when he literally moved the other guys car sideways!

Anyway I left my lights on from that point on :)

Still some dodgy roads out there. Tipping along out in the Discovery and a touch of the brakes resulted in the ABS kicking straight in. Still some slush about.
