    Repeat of The Week!

    Documentary telling the story of the band's acclaimed 1996 album Everything Must Go, which was recorded in the wake of the disappearance of lyricist and guitarist Richey Edwards

    11pm & 2.45am Music For Misfits: The Story of Indy (Part 2)
    The Alternative 80s During the 1980s, independent record labels transformed from cottage industries into real businesses that could compete with the majors. This documentary recalls the first cross-over of alternative music into the mainstream chart, as well as the emergence of fanzines, whereby aspiring music journalists could access their favourite indie stars at the small and intimate gigs where they performed. Narrator Mark Radcliffe also considers the latter part of the decade when the emerging acid house rave culture spawned a new crop of bands such as the Stone Roses and Happy Mondays.     I saw Howard Jones some years ago at a Christmas party do in Limerick.
    He was good, actually since you ask.
    It was a Christmas night combined with a few firms and organisations.
    The following day we accidentally got sent an email of Howard Jones bar bill.
    It was most impressive and ran to some 15 pages.
