What was a nice Audi in Arva, Co. Cavan.
Bonnet has a few heavy dinges, looks like he met with a cow on a back road.

Following this nice 4 door Mk2 Golf into Cavan town.
Just as I put down the phone, met a lovely Porsche 911. I think it was 90 D 4.

Yes Davycc, it looked amazing. Whale tail spoiler and that great 911 stance.

Last one from today in Cavan town. A mum leaving kids to Ballet class in a rare 1973 Corolla!

    (joke !)

Beautiful looking 1951 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith in Drogheda. Looked like a wedding car. I wasn't quick enough to get a photo.

Thought that was a TR4 myself??

    I'm pretty sure it's not a TR4 but possibly a TR4A.
I'll stick on TR5 due to the badge and repeater light on rear flank.

We can wait for the ref or split the difference :)

I think you could be correct actually.
Just googled it there and it looks more like a 5 alright.

I used to see that golf everyday when I worked in Athlone, totally original, great to see it still in daily use.

Peugeot's really do age well. I can't imagine any other company where you'd look at their 306, 205 or 406 rivals and think that they'd look as good.

The 306 has aged terribly, especially the pre facelift.

I'm not sure I would agree with that? The phase ones do look a little older but I have this phase 3 in storage with a few years now and I think it still has a certain style to it but maybe i'm nuts after owning it for 15 years :o

Not sure what age it was, but saw a very nice VW Corrado G60 today.

Always thought I would end up owning one many moons ago, but ended up with an MR2 instead.

Didn't realise this lad was heading to the same venue as me. Had a look on the window, only 52000 miles.

That yoke looks like a brand new car. It seems we've established that Dr Who's Tardis has a built in garage. :D

Personally speaking, while I love to see top end sports cars from yesteryear looking so well, I think it bloody fantastic to see "lesser" cars that survived so well. *looks out at my own old, but not nearly so old Honda and realise I need to up my game*

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
