I think if you added some Nutella you’d convince a lot of kids. It’d be similar to the crepes with banana and chocolate you get at crepe stands.

I think it's the combination of flavours of bread and banana that makes it gross to me. I've no objections to bread or bananas separately at all. Or to banoffee, for that matter. :D

Banana and peanut butter is a winner for me.

Think like a lot of fruit bananas can be very hot and miss these days. Hard to get ones that actually taste like bananas.

Just chopped a red chilli that was completely seedless. That’s a first for me!

This just popped up on my twitter. Haven't ever thought about making a banana sandwich in years but used to love them as a kid with the cheap white bread.

    Yay!

I love banana (sliced not mushed) in toasted pita with some honey.

    On toasted cinnamon bread!
That was my breakfast every day when I was in Montreal. I haven't had it since, mostly because I can't seem to find cinnamon bread here, and I can't be bothered to bake it myself...

Mmmm banana sandwich, I haven't had one of those in a long time! But still delicious I'm sure.

Don't like bananas so not for me but I remember banana sandwiches with a sprinkling of sugar and sliced banana in a bowl of cold milk (with sugar, no doubt) was also a thing.

I lived on banana sandwiches when I was a kid!
Another taste sensation: mashed banana on buttered toast with a sprinkle of sugar, and a splash of cream if you have any handy.

I bought a single raspberry bush a few years ago not expecting much, but the yield has been great and this year there are literally tons on it. I made cordial with a load of them this morning, it was surprisingly easy :)

^ I was given a single raspberry bush a few years ago and it never produced a single fruit. I ‘accidentally’ ran over it with the lawnmower last year thinking I was rid of it. I spotted a shoot appearing today. :(

Can anybody recommend a roasting tin that won’t peel after 6 or 7 roast chickens?!? Really disappointed in a Judge tin and before that a Marks and Spencer’s.
    Very frustrating.
    Thanks y’all.

IKEA is your only man for this. They hold up well to a scouring pad, and also available in several sizes.

Cooker beeped earlier. Stood in front of it for a second or two trying to remember why I was there.

We got a new kitchen a couple of months ago. Nothing used to beep. Everything beeps now. We've essentially created a kitchen relay where we check the dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave before figuring out what the hell is going on. The only thing that doesn't beep is the washing machine, and that's in the shed.

If a washing machine beeps in a shed and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

    +1

I have a 2 of them in that size and one each of the medium and small. The large ones are pretty big I usually only break them out at Christmas. The small and medium one have had very heavy near daily use for going on 10 years now and are still perfect. Nearly everything that goes in my oven is cooked in them. I rarely even have to scrub them, even burnt on food comes off in the dishwasher. They are way better than any non stick roasting tray.

reminds me of the d***** smoke/heat alarms they fitted. One was right above the cooker and as the place is small, they set each other off... then the co2 alarm malfunctioned... I killed them all!
