How? The ball was on target and finished up in the net. Surely no different than the keeper getting a touch on it on the way in? The fact that he pushed it into the post, back to him and in shouldn't matter because it was originally on target. I wouldn't class that as an OG, although I'm not sure what rules the Dubious Goals Committee follow.

yes but got -2 for penalty miss and Zab lost his assist. His penalty was on target, looks a strange call as an OG.

It's 100% an OG. Ball was pushed onto the post and was coming back out before hitting Howard on the head and going back in. Without hitting Howard it would not have gone in.

If it hit a defender instead of Howards head you'd be calling it an OG

If a keeper saved the ball in open play and it hit a defender and went in it would be an OG. This is the same. The key is that the ball was moving away from the goal before it hit Howard.

No whittaker or ward prowse gives me 8 points from the bench. Better not come on for 10 minutes!

Leaves me on 38 with Ramsey, Giroud and Ozil to play. Hopefully hit 50 with those 3.

Yes but without Howard hitting it in the first place it would have :)

I don't know the PL OG rules in detail, will assume you lads are correct.

whatever the outcome, it seems harsh that the points wouldnt change if the dubious committee made the change

Have €3 down on a treble of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham to win..

Seems a fairly solid bet and I stand to win €10 profit on it.

If I lose I'm down €5 for the week, no big deal ;)

There's a lot of players along with mata whose prices have drop such that they could become very appealing later in the season. Hazard, Lamela, Walcott, Coutinho, Bony etc

as long as Lamps does fúck all, Chelsea can do what they like.

Norwich scoring would be a bonus.

Lallana goal I believe, wise not bringing Davies in this week so.

Hopefully Ramsey does nothing later. Ba is proving a handful at the moment.

Just on the Aguero penalty .

When the ball rebounds back off the post back into play it doesn't count as a penalty kick anymore so whoever puts the ball in the back of the net is the goalscorer. In this instance it was a Howard OG.

Had Howard saved it and it went in off the post without touching him again it would have been an Aguero goal .
