Less than 3 hours until the deadline passes, people with suarez or sturridge will be quielty confident of getting a very big captain score, people with neither will be praying for a liverpool off day like at home to southampton a couple of weeks ago......and people with both suarez and sturridge will be rubbing their hands together in anticaption of the points they'll get!

RVP is a slight doubt for united but i think if there's any chance of him playing he will, united can't afford to lose anymore ground.

out of curiosity, those of you with suarez and sturridge, you'll obviously be captaining 1, i'm thinking you'd be hoping for a minimum of 20-25 points from the duo?? but it could be anything really!

Ive 3 moses, sturridge and suarez capt. Id settle for a goal or an assist for suarez and sturridge but obviously hoping for more. Ive liverpools 3 most attacking players at home to the worst team in the league but I think if liverpool dont score early it could be a long afternoon. These are the games liverpool tend to dissapoint in. I think this is the first time Ive ever had 3 attacking players from the same team. Will transfer one of them out next week.

My weekend could end in disaster. I've five attacking players between Liverpool and Arsenal. Cue two no score draws!

Sold RVP & Berbatov this morning and brought in Suarez & Remy. Have Remy, Suarez & Sturridge up front so need Liverpool to come through today.

My team for the weekend. Leaving Brady in knowing Barkley will sub in.

I have both with Suarez captain. Palace will probably win 1-0.

Here are my experiences of the 4 this year.......
Brought in lampard early on. Think GW3. He has delivered 3 points and lost .3 in value........if he plays today he may score though (optimistic)! I'll be selling him when Walcott is back
Signed eriksen gw4 and has also delivered only 3 points BUT his value is rising and he looks dangerous and I'll be keeping him long term.
Nani is firmly on my watchlist. Brought him in on wildcard but he disappeared for 2 weeks . I'd wait a week on him but one to keep an eye on for sure.
Nasri is a massive risk with Silva back

    Thanks for that.

Leaning towards Nani. Moyes obviously fancies him after giivng him a 5 year deal.

    Cheers!

Got a bad cut the other night that required stitches - he played on but had to change jerseys numerous time - think they even had to print more jerseys for him...

He will play and borrow Rooney's headband :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 691 ✭✭✭ghosttown

Let the battle begin, rooney vs suarez... good they're on after each other. Funny game this, Pool fan here, but with Rooney Giroud and Sturridge up front I'll be watching from behind the couch at 3...

    Bench Coleman or not?

I'm keeping him in. City defence isnt too hot right now and he'll get forward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,216 ✭✭✭PopTarts

Any idea if Rooney will get his game / start?

How serious is this shin injury..?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

I want a goalfest in the early game with Lukaku, Barkley and Zab all getting involved. Baines... NO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

Giroud, Ozil and Ramsey in my team even though the're away to a WBA high in confidence from last week. I've either made my best decision of the season or completely shot myself in the foot. It's going to be a long wait until tomorrow!

RVP is a doubt with a toe injury.

Would definitely be a bonus. Moyes needs to wrap all his players in bubble wrap for the next training session.

so many games this weekend where people will be desperate to see the teamsheets.

Ben Arfa, Lampard, Rooney, RVP, Michu and Shaw are just some of the big names who are proper doubts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,216 ✭✭✭PopTarts

Oh I hate this last half hour.

Rooney's yellow is making me think of taking a 4 point hit and bringing in Sturridge.

    I know I shouldn't do it. Arrrgh!

It really does seem this year that a lot of the popular players are getting injuries.

Zabaleta is one we're going to have to keep an eye on too IMO with Richards back and starting the other night.

Brady out for a month !! Need to make a change so. Zabaleta or Coleman in defence ? Have both

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,513 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

well out for a month....but 2 of those weeks are a break

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Need to take care of Nasri in the next 20 minutes. Considering Eriksen or Gylfi and really torn between the 2. Could also go Whittingham which would allow me to upgrade Wilson to Baines on my next FT.

City's home form has been great (10 goals scored, 1 conceded - which actually was Rooney wonder freekick - in 3 games). Everton away conceded twice 2 goals and got a CS in Cardiff. Coleman had a blinder in Norwich. If you look at his previous season history his best season he scored and assisted 4 times. He's done 1/4 of that already, in his first game. He has not shown huge signs of consistency for getting attacking points.
    So stats are saying Zab.

To be honest, with Brady out and Collins having to be benched and dropped anyway, I'm debating playing my cheapie-team-filler-man Delph ahead of him... Don't think I will though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

I can see about 5 different City teams in a twitter search of about 10 seconds and all are considerably different so nobody should panic yet!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,827 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Hate taking point hits but had to swallow an 8-pointer this week with half my outfield players some kind of doubt.

    RVP -> Suarez
    Collins -> Dawson
    Hernandez -> Ozil

    Team for GW:
    Mignolet
    Vertonghen, Dawson, Zabaleta, Coleman
    Ozil, Ramsey, Michu
    Soldado, Lukaku, Suarez (C)

    - Boruc, Brady, Chester, Ward-Prowse

Bringing in Dawson allows me to downgrade Vertz in the next few weeks to free up funds.
