    Wed 13th aug

    Had 3 runs since on wednesday friday and sunday..1 3k and 2 4ks. All going well. Knee feels so much better and stronger.

    Sat 16th august

    Ran 3k and thursday and the same friday. Probably shouldnt have ran two days in a row yet as knee is a bit right this morning. Hope to get out tomorrow. Rest day 2 day

    Been getting out every third day lately. Logged my first 5k y/day in 3 months. Knee feels better but keeping it strapped when i run. Limerick bound tomorrow so will run again on sunday

    Enjoyable run as I increased the pace as a ran. Ran The first k in 5.53 and ran the last in 4.45. Happy with that. As for Limerick on saturday The ref Was a disaster. U couldnt fault the players effort but a few sideline decisions by horan were questionable.

    I ran 5k last friday morning in belleek woods and another 5k on sunday morning. Knee is holding up Well . Plan to increase distance this week. There is a 5\10k race in crossmolina on the 5th of october so im aiming towards the 5k as my first race back

    Have been increasing distance over the past number of weeks. Ran 10k this morning with 2 Lads training for DCM. They continued on after 10k. Ran it in 55 mins. That 10 mins slower than my pb. Still great to be back. Enjoyable run in the fog at 8 in the morning.knee is feeling stronger. Gonna kick on from here with a more structured plan.

    Great news John. Our park run is nearly good to go I believe, I've volunteered to help out. Also there is a 5 km in Crossmolina next Saturday as well as the following weekend.

    5k.
    just a easy paced jog through a local woodtrail. Got tired near the end but thats probably down to working nightshift this week. Plan 2 more sessions this week. Probably a 7k and a 11k at weekend.

    have been getting out 3 time a week lately consisting of 2 short runs and a long run at weekends. Not too bothered bout pace yet. Had planned to do a 5 or 10k race crossmolina but gonna give it a miss. Probably need a few more weeks before i start racing again.

    Have been getting out 2 3 times a week lately but failing to log in here so much change that from now on. Done a 60k cycle on the greenway last week. Enjoyable but tough. Done my first race this morning since last April in ballina. It was a 5k fun run through belleek. Done this in 25 mins. Happy out. 2 and a half minutes outside my 5k pb but I don't care. Its great to be back racing

    thanks martyboy48. Knee is holding up Well. I keep it strapped when i run just to protect it if anything. I have no pain when i run. Its still not 100% and probably never will. Its not an easy injury that u can totally cure according to physio. I just have to protect thé knee and not overdo it.

    put some guns n roses on the mp3 player and off i went. Could have ran for âgés but had **** to do at home. U cant beat Axl rose when u go for a run. Serious music to get motivated too.

    Started off with a First k of 5.43 increased the pace and finished with the last 2k of 4.58 and 4.56.

    Fri 7th nov
    1hr circuit training
    Started off tonight and plan to go once a week along with my running.

    I had planned to go for a run sunday but I wasnt able due to a very sore back. Thankfully i was able to get out this morning. Hopefully circuit training tomorro evening and a run then friday

    I don't think it's on next week cause of club 10 km on Sunday. If it's on I will probably do it. You doing the 10 km? Good crowd this morning.
