I find it weird when grown men get upset about Jeward. It's kids music for kids. Like the Barney soundtrack.

    Do my head in...
Coincidentally though, banner up whilst I'm typing this in is of Jedward prancing about in Killarney...
    30 euro a ticket...
    30 EURO!
Could buy myself a mighty set of pliers for that and save myself a trip to Killarney, and a bit of pain...

I feel sorry for those two kids. There's clearly a bit of mental illness and they've been used as cash cows. They're emotionally children, and that is not right at their age. Can you imagine how creepy they'll be as old men
Someone should be looking out for them now before it's too late.

I could live with Barney ,it's the weird children he hangs out with that leave me shivers.it's like the percociousness of the Billy Barry Kids has been extracted, concentrated and reinjected into them.Frightening.

    Must be.

Only one of them is gay, I forget which one.
I can't imagine either of them really being into sex though. Sex is not for everyone.

Also saying they sleep in the same bed, strange people.

Blame the parents, clearly. How the hell did they let them turn out like this?

I would feel sorry for them if they weren't such arrogant **** who are convinced they are good.

I would doubt it. I would also scratch what I said earlier. They may be **** but I do nevertheless feel sorry for them. The things that, because of their utter weirdness, they will never experience. Social norms like sex, getting pissed up with mates (while I've seen them latch on to a few female has been celebrities I doubt they have any male friends, they seem completely reliant on each other alone), a lads holiday, appreciating good music, taking their first pill. None of this exists in their world because they are tucked up in bed, possibly together, by nine o clock. The only one thing they seem to have in common with the average Joe is that they like football, apart from that they are on a completely different planet to normal living. It is a sad waste of life, really, all that money and they haven't lived a day in the real world.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

ya, but in all fairness none of us know what they're really like when they're off stage away from the TV camera and public eye, its just an act most of the time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,758 ✭✭✭✭TeddyTedson

It is gas how they eyeball each other though I have to say. I'd say the gay one sort of fancies himself.

So kinda like 2 white Michael Jacksons, only less talented. And whiter.

Used as cash cows, like very singer you mean? One direction have earned over 1 billion, yet are barely millionaires, I imagine jedward are doing quite well for themselves.

Indeed, they certainly seem to be able to take care of themselves and get what they want, but apparently they're cringeworthy. Not my thing but well done to them, they are childrens entertainment.

Seem to do a lot of good. Also visit a lot of sick people, children and so on, making them quite happy tbh. Fair play to them.
Jedward are involved with many charity projects, earning them the status as one of the highest rated charity ambassadors in Ireland for 2011.

Jedward are ambassadors for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) and have fronted an ISPCC poster campaign. The proceeds of their Euro 2012 charity single "Put The Green Cape On" also went to the ISPCC. Since 2010, Jedward have performed annually at the ChildLine Concert, which benefits the ISPCC's ChildLine service.

Jedward have also been involved with Comic Relief, Sport Relief and Children in Need, in the UK, as well as giving their time to visit children in hospitals.

So you reckon at the end of the show they head back to Lucan (is it?), skinful of pints down the local with a gang of old mates, off to a nightclub to try and score some young one and roll in the door home scuttered drunk at 9pm on Sunday evening looking forward to their mates stag do in Amsterdam next weekend?

    I REALLY can't see it.

This sounds very like the resume of another eccentric, intensely annoying and, until about a year ago, bafflingly beloved and popular "entertainer".

Not that I'm accusing them of anything of course! Whereas with Savile he might as well have called his show Jim'll Nonce It it was so ****ing obvious.
