I am making this study log to keep track my study, keep on top of everything and most importantly to motivate myself. I have daily, weekly and monthly study plans and timetables but I find it hard to stick to them as I often make unrealistic goals.

The subjects I am taking in order of the ones I am best at (need to study least) to the ones I am worst at (need to study most).

    French
    Biology
    Business
    Music
    English
    Maths
    Irish

I am taking all of them at higher I am aiming for 590 points but I would be happy with 540.

    My motivation.
    1. To get the course I want.
    2. In the university I want.
    3. To eventually get the job I want.
    4. To happily be able to tell friends and family what I got in my Leaving Cert
    5. To feel that I did my absolute best and not have any regrets
    6. To be able to enjoy my 6th year holiday and feel I earned the reward :)

Note to self, Need to manage time better!

Didn't post yesterday had a very unproductive day!

Revised yesterdays business and studied skill of communication.
Did english 2013 comprehension including question B, this took me way longer than it should have.
    Did a maths differentiation exercise.

I still need to start studying irish soon! Also have a maths and business test on thursday so I'll be studying for those tonight.

I think you mean Yeats. :pac:

Also if you are doing English poetry remember that it is only worth a low enough mark compared to paper 1. People fall down on their results because they ignore paper 1. It carries the same weight as paper 2.
When I studied the poetry I tended to study a poet at a time in terms of a number of poems under the headings such as themes, imagery, contrasts etc. which made exams a lot easier. In case you are wondering I got an a1 at higher level.

    yes, typo!
There is so much poetry to learn I often find I spend most of my time on it or the comparative. My teacher makes us do a comprehending question A and B every week so hopefully that will be enough revision for section 1 on paper 1 so I guess I should focus more on the composing. Thank you I will definitely try that!

My last bit of advice to you would be to prepare your priority topics. Something I found to be of enormous benefit was to make a list of my subjects- best on top weakest on the bottom- and the major topics under each subject and how often they were examined. It makes the courses a lot more doable and less stress rather than wondering what you are doing next. You will also see that it is a lot ore manageable. Sounds like you will have an enjoyable Xmas!
