Yeah, but it looked kinda like a last minute change? Is Fanning on the bench or dropped all together?

Oh I was joking. Fanning is injured so he's right out of the squad according to leinster twitter.

Is it me or do we seem to have a vastly higher amount of 'late withdrawls' than other sides?

Seeing that series of scrums last week makes it even more frustrating, Adam Jones is fine in the first 3/4 scrums but folds like a wet paper towel in the scrum that eventually results in the YC, it's blatantly obvious when you see all the scrums in sequence

Now that you mention it, it does seem to happen more often than might be expected by chance.

Hope Tuqiri turns out to be absolutely unstoppable

Is Sean Maitland injured? Or being rested? I note Hogg is back, so I would have thought Maitland might be up and running too.

it could be T just blended quicker then they expected and at a better fitness level so was the better choice

I just hope he doesn't think he is playing league

Shame Leinster changed colours for this as their current light blue home jersey doesn't clash with this dark blue/ black Glasgow jersey. Maybe they're just trying to sell more of the away jersey.

I always prefer Leinster in blue.

Poor from Darcy there. Nice clearing up by Jenno at back of lineout.

    Nice turnover from Strauss.

Looks like Fitzgibbon's bugbear is going to be holding for the night though.

Is it just me that takes a moment to tell if it's madigan or gopperth with the ball. Same build, hair (style) and similar skin tone?

well that's that out of his system

Strauss with 2 turn-overs to his name within 10 mins.

Is it just me, or is Gopperth quite suspect in defence?

Nice touch found there, Jimmy. let's use it now

In what way to you think he's suspect?

A lot of side to side - not very much forward.

    Great Glasgow defence.

That is an awful passage of play! So slow and ponderous.

Just in the last couple of games I've seen him give away a bit of ground. He's not the biggest guy.

I think they switch between the 2.
