    Hi just wondering if there is anybody on here that has any experience wildhunter 170 variable lamp any advice much appreciated

    Pure crap... Copy of the light force and look exactly the same but no comparison in build quality and operation... There cheaper for a reason...!!!

    Same as that. Found them to be half the distance/quality of the Lightforce. I tried the 140 against the 140 so i'm assuming the 170s are the same.

    Thanks lads that's good to know ill just save a bit more and get the lightforce....what battery pack do use lads use ?

    I just use an old battery out of an alarm panel. Its bit heavy but I just stick it in a bag on my back and then just work away.

    The light force with the dimmers give trouble the board inside burnt out on mine so if be keeping an eye to see if there gonna rectify the problem first.

    Lad light force and get a sealed battery out of a lawn mower tractor and a backpack, ul never look back I often got 3 nights out of a fully charged battery .

    Bit heavy but not when in a back pack on ur back .
