Prenelf I will be getting the train from cork too so I can go there with you (I don't actually know where the xgc is either but I used to live in dublin so maybe I will be able to find it). I think steez will be back from america then and I will team with him. If he is not I'll team with you if you need a teammate

I am planning to have some casuals before the end of august in my house too if you'd like to come and get some practice. I'll put up details later.

For multiple reasons, the date is not up for discussion (including the fact Galway is trying to run a tournament for the proposed other date, the TO is currently out of the country for this one, the fact that we've already started publicising the date, the fact we had to book the XGC etc).

First time in a while I'll actually be able to stay the entire day for this, don't have work to run off to, good news for you Doom, you can go off and beast SF and make all the finals. Also I expect some company for a pint of two after, no excuses!

1pm - Registration Desk opens. This will be upstairs.
Casual setups available for all games that people bring copies of the game

1.30pm - IGAU & MVC3 starts.

2pm - AE Pools Starts

4pm - AE Top 16 Starts

5pm - AE Teams Starts

Price:
Venue Entry: €5

Tournaments:
AE Singles: €5
AE Teams: €5 (per team)
UMvC3: €5
IGAU: €5

Super Saver: €20 (Entry to venue & all Tournaments)

20% of the total take (Less Venue fee) will go into the community fund - A new standard that I think all events should follow.

We are hopeful of streaming this event. If we can it will be up on http://www.twitch.tv/brianvondoom.

Teams
If you have not yet organised your team, please try to do so. We will pair people up on the day if you don't have one but want to play but it would be best to have them pre-arranged.

I will try to arrange that we use the newer xbox's. We are being given half the room upstairs with all the machines so we can cherry pick the one we want for SF.

We'll need AE discs or profiles with AE and Super discs lads... in fact we need discs for everything.

Yes, this reminds me. Please everyone bring disks for the games, profiles if you can/need to. THe last thing we want is to have 16 machines and 3 copies of the game.

Sadly I won't be able to make this one. I'm starting college on Tuesday so spending money going to Dublin wouldn't be the smartest idea.

But anyway when the tournament is over I would appreciate if you can post a full list of results for each game so I can put them up on the site.

Yeh, the haze is slowly clearing. Same as last time for teams afaik. Winner stays on, character lock but not position lock which means that each round either person can start.
