Hi, looking for a builder to do some refurbishment work at my home in Dublin 5. It's not a huge job but would like it done ASAP by someone good and at a reasonable price. Want to install new floors, remodel fireplace, put up partition wall where stairs are in a room, also wallpaper removal +/- replastering and painting work. Any recommendations greatly appreciated, thanks.

Looking for recommendation for good surveyor to do thorough inspection on a couple of properties in north Co. Dublin. One property needs a fair bit of work and I'm trying to figure out what needs to be done and possibly how much it would cost. The other is in pretty good shape with some recent extensions and renovations having been completed, but I want to make sure everything's okay with the work that has been done. Would like to get both properties surveyed before I decide which one to make an offer on. Really appreciate a PM with suggestions if anyone has used good surveyors in the area.

I have been given a recommendation for a builder to do a small kitchen extension which will involve knocking a wall between the kitchen and playroom and taking in the patio to create a large squarish room (including two roof beams). It should be very straightforward and the only thing I would need advice on is the best roof to use. The builder wants drawings so that he can give me an exact price which is fair enough. However we will only go ahead with the build now if we can afford it so I don't want to spend too much on the drawings! Any recommendations very welcome.
