Due to there being an apparent confusion over the recent days, there has been a delay in installing the new Internazionale manager. As a result, the decision we've made is to award the vacant managerial role to the initial candidate, 12guage dave, and would urge him to resign from Dynamo Kiev and apply for the Internazionale vacancy within 24 hours of this post. Failure to do so may will result in the position being offered to the next manager in line. Thanks.

How could the Inter gig have been gone for so long? If it was going to the Kyiv manager should he not have quit and applied for it and wait to be accepted????


I'm all for the current set up of once the 24 hour rule lapses the first come first serve but in all fairness, Inter have been sitting there with 'Roberto Macini' as their manager for well over a week.... Surely if someone gets the gig they need to quit and apply ASAP

As it isnt in BOLD I assume its ok to question this ...


Any other application, people see the 24hrs are up, leave their current club and apply(and wait for macs weekend haze to clear :P). Here, no one did anything ... personally I think some of the blame must lie with the initial candidate who hasnt once questioned why he wasnt appointed yet.

Nothing personal 12guage, but imho, the job should go to the next manager

Exactly my point... Shur if that's the way it's going to be I'll take Shaktar as nobody else has applied for em.... I'll just stay on at Lazio and nobody can have Shaktar, see the problem.

I've no problem with Dave getting it still. Mac wasn't here to confirm anything or to accept him. If I was leaving Bayern to go back to Sao Paulo I wouldn't be quitting till Mac confirmed and he was around to accept.

Whatever about not being around for a few hours but Mac was away for the weekend. No point in Dave quitting just to sit around for a few days waiting on Mac

tbf, dave hasnt once come on and questioned when he can take the job ...

I assume attendances play a big enough role in generating extra cash and as Portsmouth manager I see we are placed 80th out of the 80 teams in the four leagues for average attendance (which is bad). After narrowly avoiding relegation this season I'm just happy to jump ship to any other club tbh and start afresh.
