Why? Worried it will pale in comparison? To be fair, Billy always does an excellent show. And it's indoors, which he's never done here before. He also does a shrewd setlist of hits and killer album tracks. It may not have the same impact of the epic "occasion" of a Bruce gig, but it should be great.

2024 Gigs and Events: David Suchet, Depeche Mode, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, The Smile, Pixies, Liam Gallagher John Squire/Jake Bugg, Kacey Musgraves (x2), Olivia Rodrigo, Mitski, Muireann Bradley, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eric Clapton, Girls Aloud, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Smashing Pumpkins/Weezer, P!nk, Pearl Jam/Richard Ashcroft, Taylor Swift/Paramore, Suede/Manic Street Preachers, Muireann Bradley, AC/DC, Deacon Blue/Altered Images, The The, blink-182, Coldplay, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Nick Lowe, David Gilmour, Public Service Broadcasting, Crash Test Dummies, Cassandra Jenkins.

Wax in Manchester on the fifth of November.

I'm annoyed I won't be around for Raekwon's gig. As long as he shows up it should be good.

Alkaline Trio in the Academy is the only definite for the forseeable future. Still tempted to head to the Belfast gig too. Will probably go to Papa Roach, and the OH will want to go see Avenged Sevenfold later in the year.
