For probably the first time in as long as I can remember, I have NO gigs or concerts coming up. It feels strange! I've almost always had a ticket for something coming up. But I've no plans to go to any at all.

What are your next gigs/concerts you're going to?

I've already got tickets bought for Regina Spektor at the Olympia, The National at The Point, Austra at the Button Factory and I plan on getting tickets for Bell X1 at Vicar St.

Songkick is great for keeping track of gigs. Even though I usually found out about gigs before their app alerts me, sometimes I'm not and it's handy to keep a running list of all my upcoming gigs.

Regina Spektor in two weeks, bringing OH for her birthday. Not my cup of tea really.

    Picnic.

Local Natives in the Olympia in Oct. Couldn't get to Longitude to see them and was gutted, can't wait now. And it's a bargain at €22 :)

Plan to go to QOTSA too if I can get my hands on tickets.

I'm going to the Sundown Gathering in Kinnegad (similar to the early Life festivals and Dream Gathering), Electric Picnic and Moderat in October 14th at the Button Factory.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Ben Howard headlining Belsonic in less than two weeks, Imagine Dragons shortly after in the Olympia Theatre and then The 1975 playing The Academy in September. Cannot wait.

I am flying Monday morning to Glasgow to see the B-52's.

    After that is
-James at the Olympia later this month
-These Charming Men at the Village in September and
-AlunaGeorge at the Academy and Queensryche at the Button Factory in mid October.

I will go to two more towards the end of the year (after an exam I have in November) but haven't decided yet. There is plenty happening anyway.

    Lord Huron (soon)
    **** Buttons (Sept)
    Everything Everything (Oct)

I'm looking forward to Everything Everythig the most as I missed them in Jan of this year. After that, **** Buttons is one I'm excited about. Their new album is immense.

At the moment, the only ticket I have in hand is for Black Sabbath in Belfast in December. Have bought but not yet received tickets for Beady Eye and The Darkness, both in the Olympia and both in November. There are plenty of others I'm eyeing up, though...

Thinking of going to Lord Huron too if I can find a buddy to go with.

Later in the year I've tickets for The National and will probably head to Frightened Rabbit too.

Make sure ya make it to the support band for Tame Impala!

Going to Nine Inch Nails, but more excited for And So I Watch You From Afar supporting them. Hopefully make it to Roger Waters, Soundgarden is on the cards, God is an Astronaut is a must see, if work/money allows I'll go see Steven Wilson in UK, Queens of the Stone Age too.

And I'm supposed to save money for a program cruise next February!

Thanks, Miguel_Sanchez, did not know so cow was playing, will try to make that gig as well. So here's the plan (stuff I already have tickets to):

    Eminem 17/08 - Slane
Selena Gomez 14/09 - Frankfurt (DE)
    Depeche Mode 09/11 - Dublin
The Band Perry 04/12 - Dublin

Thinking about going to see The Darkness, MGMT and some smaller gigs at Whelan's. I will try to catch Napalm Death this year. They are playing kind of every year in December and it never worked out for me. (Yes, I like Napalm Death, Selena Gomez and Eminem. I enjoy all music categories except for jazz and techno)
