    Ulster +15

    All home wins @4/1

Plenty of value in Ulster with the points imo take out numbers 1-5 in each team 13 is the only position Leinster and definitely better on paper.

Toulouse beat racing twice already this year id be wary

If leinster and Toulouse both win I'll be delighted enough to forget about the bet ;)

    Glasgow (-7) vs Ulster
    Munster (-7) vs Cardiff
    Cheetahs (-3) vs Ospreys
    Zebre (+8) vs Connacht
    Scarlets (-7) vs Edinburgh
    Leinster (-18) vs Benetton
    Kings (scr) vs Dragons

Some of those odds might be worth jumping on once lineups are announced, particularly Munster and Glasgow.

While it's true that Benetton are very good this season, the Leinster backups are capable of handing out big defeats.

it really galvanises a side when theres something on line ... and its much harder for the leinster lads to get up to the same pitch when theres nothing on the line for them. Treviso will be kicking off before knowing what the Edinburgh / scarlets result is as well....

lets not forget how this game went at this time last year .....

I'm all over Benetton, Edinburgh and Cheetahs to beat the spreads.

Easy winnings on the benneton result.

I think leinster -7 in the SF is looking like a good bet even before the teams are named. I expect the big guns to be back for that game and leinster to suffocate Toulouse in the aviva.

    Kings (+12) vs Ospreys
    Edinburgh (-6) vs Ulster
    Connacht (-5) vs Cardiff
    Benetton (+5) vs Munster
    Leinster (-7) vs Glasgow
    Scarlets (-19) vs Zebre
    Cheetahs (-11) vs Dragons

    Zebre look decent at +19.

All the provinces to win comes to just under 8/1.

Benetton has moved to a more realistic -1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Benetton -5 after the announcements.

Sale getting a point going to Worcester this week doesn't seem right to me they are well in the mix for the top 4 and are a much better side. I will wait for teams but I will take them in a match bet aswell as a few alternative handicaps

    some for the weekend

Can't see past Saracens crushing Munster and -8 for Saracens looks a dead cert - I hope that I'm wrong. :(

As for Leinster, having watched the rebirth of Toulouse, in particular against Racing, I can't make up my mind. Toulouse to win at 21/10 is tempting. Again, I hope that I'm wrong and look forward to an all Irish final.

yeah im very wary to put anything on the toulouse / leinster game.....

i was more confident last week... but that confidence is dropping off the closer the game gets.
im just hoping now that leinsters experience in big games, and ability to smother opposition, gets them over the line.

however toulouse can litteraly score from anywhere... and are quite miserly in defense.
so on that point, my moneys staying in my pocket.

might do a customary "sean cronin first try scorer" @ 10s

I expect the line to move to -9/10 if Earls and/or Kleyn's absences are confirmed.

Munster and leinster to score a try in the first half 9/4

Billy vunipola and Chris Farrell both to score a try 66/1

Have to take a bit of the 4/1 about kolbe anytime he is absolutely electric.

And 6/1 about Toulouse/Leinster double result

I'm all over Ulster to win. I expect the line will move significantly upon the lineup announcement. I have a feeling Ulster will put out some starters.

  • Subscribers Posts: 43,107 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Yeah I think ulster will be rabid to win this....

I'd even expect then to beat a -5 or -6 spread, even before any teams named

  • Subscribers Posts: 43,107 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

and in typical fashion the money is going the other way :D

    ... ulster now +3

Two awful games IMO but fortunately I only listened to the Leinster/Ulster game on the radio before enduring the Munster/Connacht one in my local - hard stuff to watch! Anyway 12% or so ahead on the weekend and I'll leave it at that. Thankfully the Conor Murray bet was voided as I don't think even he could have made much impact. :(
