Let's be honest here. This was always going to be the way it wound up.

In many countries and particularly this one, If you are rich enough and politically aligned to the right parties at the right times then you are pretty much above any type of tangible consequences.

It was always going to be the way it turned out.
    I haven't forgotten, though.

I'd just love to know how we could change things.

by hittign the streets until change comes, don't be relying on the socialists workers party that had organised the jail the bankers protests cos they were the ones who decided to take the summer off just as the momentum was starting to build, all because tds had summer holidays booked!! this caused the whole movement to dissipate, like those who were concerned enough pointed out to the swp hacks on the day at the dail, they just ignored us, fcuked off after only 45 mins into a 3 hour protest that they organised, their people were showing up after an hour and the majority (mostly Dubs) had been brought off by the hand by the swp down to the local garda station to hand in anglo bank complaints ffs!!

If this Country is ever going to be put right, it will take a lot more than jailing a few bankers to do it - and the politicians, of any party, will never try to implement the kind of reform that is needed, because it would restrict their own power, so they will never willingly set up the kind of political, legal, and commercial reforms that are needed.

I think it's because when you rang Anglo you got a pre-recorded message telling you your call was being recorded(for quality and training purposes...whatever that means:pac:). The Cops didn't tell you, surprise surprise..

meanwhile as the Anglo trial continues, we hear that the scratch card lady is stepping down, prisoners phone calls were taped, and there are gay penguins in the zoo.

Because staff at Anglo knew that calls were being recorded.

The judge has directed the jury to deliver majority 10 - 2 verdict in the Anglo trial because they can not reach unanimous decision. Near the end now.

Ireland is perhaps one of the few countries that would let Sean FitzPatrick off scot-free. Don't worry Seany, the Irish public will quietly trudge along and pay off the private debt of billions that you and your anglo-irish gang created. Keep smirking and skip along now back to the golf course with your pal Brian Clown.

We have the dodgy Irish Nationwide loan trial coming soon. Hopefully that will wipe the smile of the arrogant piece of sh1t.
