Murray strong under the high ball there.

Not a mention of it in the commentary. :/

    Toby slipping there big time.

Maitland has been going well so far here, easily the best out of the back 3... The bastard...

if he finishes as strongly as he's started he'll be putting Heaslip's position under serious pressure.

Sure will, certainly putting his hand up so far.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Great pass from Tuilagi and super pace from Maitland.

Great try. Maitland did well twice, putting himself in good place for the 23 jersey again.

Hopefully, Tuilagi will get a run at 12 for a spell. Barritt going very well too though.

Good try, Maitland is playing well it has to be said, outshining Zebo so far

What was the problem with the SOB turnover? There was no ruck, how can he be on the wrong side?

Absolutely, nobody formed a ruck, player placed ball to him

not as tackler. Entitled to play the ball.

Was he the tackler though? That's what I'm asking. Close either way.

Murray is having quite a good tour.

    No he wasnt

Again the phrase "open to interpretation". I'd have said he was one of the tacklers, obviously he felt he was too.

Where the hell have SOB's hands come from??

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,576 ✭✭✭garv123

farrell and half penny have being seriously good with goal kicking. 3 misses between the 2 of them and nearly 40 taken.

He wasn't the tackler, he was assistant tackler and didn't complete it, Barritt did. So he has to get out of there.

If you're assistant tackler you have to get out

needs to be a little more 'discreet' at the breakdown though.

Playing a totally different game than Warburton, which might not be Gatland's flavour.

    Melbourne Rebels
Great hands from SOB but re penalty against him whether he's right or wrong ref told him to stop and he didn't.

Argh. Close. Great running from Zebo. Would have been better served giving the pass earlier though instead of trying to beat the last man.

Technically if he (the tackler)doesn't go to ground, he does have to come back enough the gate...

I think it had to do with the definition of a tackler

    Barnes talks awful ****e..

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,320 ✭✭✭Teferi

Is it just me or has SOB been a lot more vocal this tour? I don't think I've ever seen him as chatty on the field. Seems to be talking to the ref and other players a lot.

Barnes still convinced Murray is having a bad game, don't know what match he's watching.

Flashback to Saturday - name this player

Barnes: "Best Finisher in Northern Hemisphere"

Maitland, Farrell, Murray, Zebo and SOB are playing well. What Barnes thinks Murray is doing wrong so far is hard to see.

    What is Barnes on about?
