    I wonder would Luke Marshall have been anywhere near contention had he been fit.

    to be fair it think its a bit harsh to have too much of a go at the backline-most have been thrown together in past couple of days-they were going to look sloppy.
    i would look more at the forwards-struggling to get a hold on the game and shoddy at the lineout.

    Very hard for him. Line out has been a disaster. Scrum under pressure. Rucks have been very messy. He's trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
