I'm sure there are.
But they're selling them for a lot more than E20 though.

Just queue up outside Argos or tesco and hope for the best. Or go with amazon and hope for one before Christmas! They're the only ways you will get one.

Ring around everywhere, per order with amazon and get a relative or close friend to wait in a 24 hour tesco and at 12:01 go straight to the manager and say may I have a PlayStation 4. Go to Argos yourself. But be there very very early! I'd stay outside over night. And even then I'm sure people will be already there from early the Thursday!

If you want one really bad go to your local Argos Thursday morning with a deck chair and a friend and take turns manning the post!

When the PS3 was released, and in short supply I went in to Tesco in Midleton. They had no idea what I was on about so went off and checked and said they had none. Was in the following day, and asked had they got any in, and they replied that there was 6 there YESTERDAY, but the stockroom idiot had forgotten to input them into the system, and they were now gone!..... Don't be afraid to double check the likes of Tesco, most people in the store seem to know little enough about what is going on. I did hear afterwards though, that anyone with a faulty PS3 had problems with Tesco, because Sony wouldn't stand over them. Grey imports apparently?

I have one mate it's for Harvey Norman killzone bundle I paid 20 for it so ya can have it for that

I was looking at their site earlier today. They seem pretty certain with their launch day systems, but you'll be stuck with one of their two bundles. Considering we're in Ireland, you might not recieve it until the Monday after the 29th, but I can't say for certain. The shipping is like 30 euro (so overall the cheaper bundle is like 550) so I would only go for them if you're desperate. I might order from them myself, but I'm waiting to hear from Amazon if I'm getting my order before Xmas.

Was told in gamestop tralee today that i would either get it on day 1 or day 2 , day 2 being saturday :P

My local Gamestop has said it probably won't be doing a midnight release. Is anyone else being told the same?

The Castlebar one is, and have heard a few other say theres are as well, is it in a shopping centre?

Yes but they usually open one door and get security etc for other midnight releases.

Oh come on amazon give me a delivery date so I can ring HN and tell them where to stick the solo ps4 they made me pay in full and refused to upgrade to a lousy bundle.

It's a bit odd that they have not given you a date yet. I got a delivery date for the X1 2 weeks ago but I'm not getting a PS4 from them though. Were you late in placing your order?

He set up a new ad and accepted a bid of €575 almost immediately, he got a lot of abuse

A lot of people out there are falling for the massive shortage hype . A manager of a GS store I know told me that they got a nice few extra consoles for launch day. Between Sony and Gamestop the hype machine is working overtime.
