I am kind of sad that Riptor is a straight up dinosaur with slightly bigger arms.
He was much more of a human/dinosaur hybrid before. It let him stand out a bit more.
There is always the retro costume to look forward to. Last season most of the retros were very faithful to their 90's/classic looks with the exception of one or two. also the original designer Kev Bayliss is back to do "updated classic" looks for this season.

Kombo Klash Top 8; 12am GMT
Kombo Klash is a two day event that has been happening this weekend. Its the first event that is a part of the "Killer Instinct Cup" league that was announced at the beginning of the month. Contestants (very much like in Capcom Cup) will earn points by attending these league events and need to earn so many points in order to qualify for the "World Cup" sometime in 2016.
Pools were streamed yesterday until top 8 (I didn't bother mentioning this yesterday since Capcom Cup finales were on). Anyone curious to see some high level KI check out the link for the archives

Omen, Herald of Gargos
Omen is the 5th character releasing this season, and is S2’s bonus character, meaning that he’s not part of the 8 characters you normally get as part of the season – he’s an additional one that we’re giving to all owners of either S2 pack. To note, we have no plans to sell this character individually.

Freed from possessing Jago, the Herald of Gargos has drawn enough power through his battles as Shadow Jago to manifest physically on the mortal plane.
He is corruption, fear, and rage given form. He is the right hand of his master’s will. He is the sign of the darkness to come. He is shadow energy incarnate. He is Omen!
His moveset has some familiar normals from Jago, some new ones, and his specials are either all-new or ones that you only the boss version of Shadow Jago used. We’ll talk more about his repertoire in detail next week, so until then, here are some quick highlights:-

Shadow-powered ability to cancel any action, turn into shadow, and move a short distance in any direction
- Multi-hitting close-range kick special
- Powerful projectile zoning with some radical projectile options
- A special move that burns all 3 stocks!
- Aerial movement options
- Slide
Omen is one of the best zoning characters in KI… situationally. Learning to recognize the advantages his zoning tools provide and work with them is going to be challenging, but rewarding when used correctly. He can also completely change the psychological pace of the game with one very risky option….0 -
