    Apart from the tradition, what is the purpose of the lions?

    Any of the individual test nations could send a team down to Australia and beat them.

    Surely putting the best players in one team it is just making it easier.

    The Lions has lost all its appeal to me.

    Yeah going well so far. Jonny had a lovely crossfield kick, Jamie good link play for the Bowe break, BOD picking and going. Irish players standing out in the early stages. Tuilagi going well to.

    Would have expected them to stand out, more than 50% of the team are Irish!:D
