Good price, I imagine they want to shift them and get people buying the note 2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,148 ✭✭✭ciano1

How do you get the priority discount and can the note be unlocked easily?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42 arnold72

To get the Priority discount code you need to register with O2 Online, then register with Priority Moments. The code is for O2 customers upgrading only: http://o2priority.ie/moments/User/Validate Then log in to your O2 Account online click, Check for Upgrade, buy the phone, then enter the Priority code at checkout. I haven't a clue about unlocking this, sorry. :(

Go to the O2 Online Store, on the left side click Prepay, then Upgrade, you'll be asked to Login. If you're eligible for an upgrade, you just buy the phone, enter the code at Checkout and get 20% discount.

Just bought this. Insanely good offer. If you are eligible for an upgrade you can just enter the code PRIUP20 to get the discount. It will work whether or not you register for priority moments. Also regarding unlocking. This phone and all the others in the Samsung Galaxy series can be unlocked using an app from the play store.

Great price but its just too big. Couldn't pull the trigger on it.

Can anyone suggest a case for this?

Speaking of big , how does one manage to get >17000 posts in 7 years? You must eat, sleep and drink boards.

I'd highly recommend the Flip cover.
It replaces the back cover and protects the screen very well.

In theory, they should sell the S3 for €179 then..that'll get rid of that old stock..:D

I went for this case in the end. Some mixed reviews but for the price and slim size it seems good. I used the BT11AA trick for delivery.

Snazzy! Do you think they'll deliver it though? You could have used ParcelMotel, only worth it if you still had one of the first 2 free stays.

Ye all think this offer is no more now that they're out of stock, or would they be getting more in?

I ordered one while still in stock. My friend wanted one but they were out of stock so I told him to keep checking and he ended up being able to order one after checking a few times. I did the same when the offer for the galaxy beam was out of stock in the CPW and it was sent to me so you could get lucky if you keep checking.

    Savage deal BTW OP cheers.

I have ordered loads of stuff from Amazon using the BT11AA trick and everything eventually gets delivered. It could take up to 2 weeks but I'm in no rush.

OK Great. I just though cos its not direct from Amazon it might be iffy. Thanks for the info though might try it some time.

P.S. Orange cover also looks good: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007BZQF88

i've been in store today, they said that they don't have any of them in stock and it is online offer only

i don't think that they will have more in stock - they obviously don't make any money on them (it seems that they actually loosing around 50-100 euro on each piece - but it is my guesstimate only)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,630 ✭✭✭Oracle

My guess would be they'll have more stock on Monday or Tuesday. If they weren't going to get more in, they'd take it off the web site.

Did someone say the S3 is €250 with Vodafone? On bill I presume.....Am I seeing things? Are those MY feet?

  • If was the sodding Mini!!!! Sorry! :o

They were available again this morning ~ 9am ish. If you keep checking you'll prob get one.

AFAIK vodafone have been out of stock of the beam for a while yet still have it on their site, I dunno if o2 would do the same.

It's a horrible phone your not missing out on anything. The bad out weighs the good, a second hand s2 or iPhone would be a lot better spend of €200.

There's also the new Huawei, that's less than €160.

Yeah the G510 on Voda for €130 (use any old SIM to get the €20 off) or the Y300 on eMobile also €130 but screens smaller. I think both can be unlocked cheap.
    Comparison: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=5386&idPhone2=5250

If you don't mind waiting a few weeks, you can get it SIM free (unlocked) and dual sim for €148 at DX.com: http://dx.com/p/huawei-g520-quad-core-msm8225q-android-4-1-2-smart-phone-w-4-5-ips-wi-fi-and-gps-black-205761

Did you get the note on O2?

That is absolute nonsense. The Note is fantasic. I have had the opportunity to play with one upgraded to Icecream sandwich, and to be honest it has 99% of the functions of my S4 with a bigger screen.

Personally I find the screen a bit too much, but it will suit some.

Look the bottom line you can have the possibility of getting a galaxy note for 199! Would you argue? Nope! I really want this deal!

i've managed to complete checkout and hoping for the best, but as always:

"Please note that this is an automated confirmation of your placed order and not an indication of acceptance. Following processing, O2 reserves its right to reject your order, or accept same by shipping your order to you. "

Fair play, was keeping an eye on it but must've missed it for those few minutes
